I posted a comment (copied below) "New Chat" at 11:13pm last night. It seems to have vanished..........I can view it from "my profile and forum posts" though.
Any ideas please confused

much prefer the old chat format ........new one is very childishly laid out and having to click on all sorts just to get to read a profile!! .......... In fact the old chat format was probably the best on any site (thats why people used it).
Sorry S/H ....... but the new format is not very good or user friendly - its swingers and ordinary everyday people logging on to use it ....... not PC experts.
There would seem to be rather a lot of critical comments about the new chat format.
I have little experience of it so will not wish to express an opinion at this early stage.
Perhaps the powers that be would like to make some general statement on the items raised so far especially regarding the robustness and ease of use issues.
Saying nothing or hiding amongst technical terms would not seem an the accountant doubting the order, totting the costs of repairing disorder.
No one knows who is to blame, no one is eager to answer the whys!.............

Have fun while the world lasts!

It's just a couple of threads down.
I think it might be best to try to keep the posts regarding the new chat room in the same thread as it is getting confusing in here now.

Not half as confusing as it is for us! Surely you can see how frustrating it is for paying members not to get access to a service they are paying for? I have no doubt you guys are just as frustrated behind the scenes that the new chat hasn't gone well but no one is letting us know anything.
Perhaps, dare I say, an apology and explanation on the home page when we log in might go some way to calming the revolution against the new chat? lol

Hi there,
You can view my Q&A thread along with updates here, which answers the majority of questions raised:
http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/swingers-forum/viewtopic/332254.html
I'll be keeping this updated as soon as we have announcements so its the best place to keep up to date.
This is also linked from the chatroom page itself, so all members are kept fully up to date with the progress of the new chat.
I'll also add onto this, that the old chat has been available 100% of the time to everyone in its entirety, so rather than losing service, you've actually gained an additional chatroom, which is compeltly your choice to use smile
I'll lock this thread now, as its best to keep the discussion in one place. There area already several threads on this topic, one already in full swing here: http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/swingers-forum/viewtopic/334704.html
