In a chatroom yesterday evening one of the Ops entered, passed the time of day with one or two. Then posted that although the room host wasn't present, it was clear that the rom was well behaved and wouldn't be closed at that time. They did say that if anyone had an issue with the room to get in touch and the Op would be back to sort it. What a fantastic attitude and display of common sense to realise that the people in the room were enjoying themselves and troubling no-one despite the abscence of a host.
Well done that Op, your truly deserve your star.

I can without fear of retribution state that I never allowed a room to remain open if it was unhosted..
Time was given to open a new room and then the unhosted room would be closed down as per the Ops guidelines at that time...
If the guidelines have changed then that would account for the room being left open.
this isnt to do with a chat room but i too would like to say thankyou to the ops and mods on the site who helped me with a problem with my photographs, i was eternally grateful for the time an op and a mod spent clarifying a matter with me and sorting the problem out. your advice was much appreciated , ty peeps xx
Can i just say.... KISSES :inlove: AND HUGS... :boo: to all the opps.. i know you probably get alot of crap.. and alot of people moaning at you .. but all i can say is thank god for the opps.. I was very niave, very green and very honest.. (still am!!) when i started.. and they were patient, VERY patient.. and realised i wasnt really a trouble maker just a kid in a sweety shop!!! heheh.. and without there help id of made alot of people very cross.. (still do!!)... :silly: but the last couple of days they have been invaluable and have sorted out issues swiftly fairly, and without tutting at me... !!!

Well there are and have been ops that have come into an unhosted room and given you 5 seconds notice, and then bang, the screen goes blank.
Why on earth does one op do it one way, and another op does it the complete opposite way? It does make me wonder after all the years of being on this site, that people make the rules up as they go along, which certainly does not help the ops, or maybe a op, who shuts a room down without ANY notice, will take heed to this ops common sense, which in my book is just plain common sense.
