noticed today a few rooms starting up today with (69) in the room title. and the true number count off the page.

We what can't understand is a room may say 71 room full and the Join button not light up. Can understand that but how then does it go up to 78?

Chat ops can get in when a room is full and I'm not totally sure but I think if you are an Extras member they can also until the room is up to 80 then it is full to everyone except ops.

The room limit is 70 members. However, we found a problem when an operator needed to enter the room to deal with an incident, but they couldn't because there was no room. We then put 10 reserve slots on the rooms so an operator or administrator could get in in an emergency.
It does turn out though, if a room has 69 members and another 2 members try to enter at the exact same time, the room limit will hit 71, taking one of the reserve slots. If more enter at the same time, obviously the count will go up a little higher, but it does not often happen.

I've found that, in a busy room, when the number drops to 69 you can click on Join and the screen may grey out for a while as if the system is stacking up people waiting to join. If you don't panic and close chat, it will eventually let you in.
