Only reason I can think of is that if somebody opens a room beginning with a space or a full stop or a hyphen, the server doesn't like them and it randomly spits them off.
Could that be it?

And when you do go into a room beginning with a # to tell the room host that his room may close, they try and kick you out of chat the moment you get in there.

room name typed in full caps? if not I havn't got a clue.
As I look now there are 4 yorks rooms on Server 1 and everything seems ok at the moment.
