I've got a Creative cam with effects and I have to start the effects programme before I load the camera up or connect to any sites. Have you tried it in that order?

SH have upgraded their software Flower..
St3v3 was saying that that these cam effects take up too much bandwidth, so they have introduced automatic detection software which disables it at source.

There was a time(not so long ago) that these cams that disguise the faces of cammers with masks or effects weren't allowed as it wasnt possible to tell exactly who was on cam.....Is this still the case or have things changed dunno

A while aga i used some sparkly stars effect scrolling across the top of my cam, I thought they looked good However, an op whispered me and told me they looked tacky.
Note to self: never ask what peeps think of me twinkles lol

I don't think there is a problem with playing effects on your webcam, so long as it doesn't disguise your face. (Though in your case Flower, effects covering your face may not be a bad thing!) :lol2: :lol2: :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:
