There have been no complaints about my behaiviour as a room host which have either been referred to me or have caused admin to have issued a warning or that has resulted in a ban or threat of one. Now, forgive me if I am wrong, isn't that the usual procedure?

GnV I am not going to cite any evidence at all.... But it is a fact that you have been spoken to on several occasions by several OP's about your kicking of single males purely because they were single males rolleyes

Thank you for your PM - however, your comment above about 'a war we can't win' is disingenous and provocative, again. Make no mistake on this - I HAVE in past banned Mods and HAVE in the past banned Ops for behaviour against the site AUP and would have no hesitation in doing so again if the situation warranted it. Be very clear on that.

I've asked Admin to comment on this.
I also suggested in an earlier posting that you lock the thread but you chose not to.
I have also added that I did not intend to cause offence and that I am supportive of the Moderators and the Chatroom Ops.
I regret that my posting about Ops closing rooms was misread. It was not constructed very well and what was intended was to say that I could understand why Ops would want to close a room in a busy environment when they obviously have lots to do. I have said that before in other posts, if you do but care to check.
The issue we are posting about now is something entirely different; I did not start this, Steve_Mids did. He accused me of removing single guys from rooms that I host for no reason other than that they are single guys. This seemed to be backed by Shireen. That issue is untrue. You appear to be taking one side, not acting with impartiality.

This was, as I said earlier, in response to comments of yours which seemed to suggest some wrongdoing on behalf of some Ops. His rebuttal was, in my opinion, fair and timely.

Well, as I have said frequently in this thread - my PM box is always open.
As for seeing eye to eye... our opinions differ that's all. As for putting heads over parapets - suicide is always fatal and if a contentious issue is raised then don't expect it to be overlooked or ignored. Never the way.
As for thanking me for my contribution.....

If you check the database you will find that Steve_Mids cannot be found rolleyes

I do know that Steve_Mids has spoken to you about the harrasment and removal of single males from couples rooms on more than one occasion though...
Probably best to end this particular avenue here as it seems more than one person is confident of the above statement being correct smile
