OK, when I booted the PC today, I was greeted with an Adobe Flash screen telling me that I needed to install some new files.
Clickety, click, and all was good.
Til I came in here. Now the text in the chatroom (and occasionally the forum too) jumps from its normal aerial 8 point to a courier 16 point text.
Pretty difficult to read on my small monitor.
So, did anybody else get this update, and more importantly, does anybody know how to uninstall it and return me back to my normal version of flash?
Ian
Version 0 now here.
I found this out by right clicking on the chatroom window and clicking on "about adobe flash player".
It is, according to the macromedia site, the latest and most up to date version for pc's running with firefox as the internet browser.
On what is usually a very stable computer, I've had to fully reboot five times in the last hour.
Grrrrr.

I've had an update - and everything seems to be working ok. BUT I haven't rebooted since... Maybe the pain will come after the first reboot?
for someone who prefers other than XP, wouldn't Linux be a better bet than '98?
Ian
Just read your post as I have a similar problem
You should be able to un-install flash from your computer and re-install an earlier version from:
