Webcam Tech Issue - Please help me.

Dear All,
I have the following Webcam with Sound:

Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000.
When I use the Webcam in MSN for a Videocall this being Vision & Sound, it great.
Really clear & sharp, I've been told this by the people that I speak to using MSN.
Yet...
When I use the Webcam in the Chatroom, my Cam is working fine but my sound is rubbish.
Peeps have told me buzzing White Noise type of sound.
Yet other members have no issue & are very clear when speaking on Webcam in the Chatroom confused

is the site softwere picking up the mic in the cam or picking it up from another that is installed
click on the cams and there is a mic symbol click on that then see if its using the right mic
other than that no idea sorry try ysing a seperate mic

I have that cam but it generally lives down the back of the telly gathering dust. :mrgreen:
In fact I didn't know it was even capable of sound. I didn't read the instructions, I just plugged it in with the CD and it worked! lol

I have no technical abilities whatsoever... sorry! redface

What I would like is for peeps to talk in the Chatroom.
I had a great time recently with a female member that was giving orders to us Male Members on Chat.
You can 'join the dots' what she wanted us to do :shock: biggrin

& I gave some to her... :shock: :twisted:
Very nice, indeed.
Let the Chatroom sound, start.
