What makes it different from being a flasher on the park?

Something I often think about (well not that often)… When a guy enters a chatroom, says nothing, switched his cam on and immediately pulls out the penis to tug one out…..
How similar is the motivation to do that as to the motivation that drove the cock flashers on the park (which you don't seem to hear about so often these days).
I can't help feeling there is some similarity confused

i dont do it because so many do.
Must get on ladies nerves waiting to see a nice body or face but be presented instead with a cock bluring about.
Then again i dont show my face on cam since some joker at work posted my profile pics around the place after i was spotted.
As to you question.
public flashing incures a fine of around £30-£90 under public order offences (i think).so at £50 (is that right?) sw is cheaper and you can do it as often as you like for that you dont get a few hours in the cells and lots of police laughing at you.

Hi there I'm new to chatrooms but I understand what you are saying and what tyracer is saying is also a valid point.I don't flash unless i am in a chatroom that offers it ie ladies tht like to watch a guy wanking etc

While the act is the same, I think the differences are - the intention, and the effect on the watcher.
A man who flashes in real life, has some of the same motivation as on here, eg, "look at my cock because it makes me feel horny". But I think in real life, there is also the intimdation aspect - "look I've got my cock out, I want you to be scared".
And this is where the other difference comes in - someone who gets flashed at in real will feel a lot different to someone who accidentally or purposely sees someone flashing on here.

loads of differances..polo..come on gal
for a start on SH..no grass or trees...you don't have to be careful where you walk incase you tread in a dog turd...there are no slides..and the gates don't close at 9pm.

Unlike the perves in the park who would presumedly flash at anyone even children, this is an adult site wher we are all on here for fun so that is one difference and secondly there is an option for you to turn that cam off or not turn that on so really the only time you need to see guys flashing is if you want too isn't it. Not having a go at you. Just stating the obvious. evil

I think equating the two is a little unfair to be honest. This is an adult site where both men and women can (supposedly) quite happily satisfy their exhibitionist tendencies to their hearts content. Some people want to watch, others don't.
I think the comparison with flashers in the park is very tenuous. It sounds to me like the original poster is trying to be sensationalist and put yet another hurdle in front of the guys that are quite happily and 'innocently' using the site in the way it's supposed to be used.
I don't find it pretty either but I aint gonna complain about it.

Well, I didn't read it that way.
I read it as a genuine question asking for differences, not trying to equate them.
I suppose that's the beauty/problem (depending on your take on the subject) of text with no tone of voice.

I also think it depends on if you know the character of the person asking the question ........ and if you truely believe it to be a "real" question!

i found polos point really interesting, as a mum of 3 i know if one of them had come in from the park and said someone had flashed at them id take my male rottie round , find the idiot and let the dog do its stuff because my children didnt ask to watch that, on the other hand as an adult who has signed up to a swinging site, for whatever reason ,i know that some men on cam are flashing their bits to anyone who wants to click on their cam, and that would be a voluntary click. point is they arent flashing their bits in the park to my kids , they are doing so on an adult website where it is acceptable. motivation, well it will be the same motivation that makes a couple exhibit on cam, sexual gratification, excitement,etc, etc, just done by a single guy who has paid for the same privellages as a couple in the usage of the site. if we all sat and tried to work out peoples motivations for doing what we do , would we have anytime for fun?? enjoy what you do without being judged, let everyone else do the same x
