Call me a burke (cue lots of replies saying "you're a burke"),and although i've been a member for quite a while now, i've not really used the chatroom & not too sure what the whisper thing is. When is it good to whisper to someone & when is it not ?
I know the answer is bound to be sooooo simple & people will chuckle at my cluelessness, but i'd be grateful if someone could enlighten me. Thanks.

Hi a whisper is a private message you either send or receive in the chatroom. You should always ask for permission to whisper someone in the room.

wispers are supposed to be for passing personal information to others privatly, say if you want to give them a fone number/addy
generally ask before wispering anyone as in a well run room repeat offenders will be kicked
and its normally frowned upon.... and its a bit pointless wispering "hi"
