Well I think Tony and Shaz are perfect....... Nice! calm, fair, honest, approachable and spend a fair amount of time online..... its not an easy task to do, some are just better suited than others, the people who pick and choose must know what they are seeking.
I would not take it so personal, who knows if it didn't work out you could well have been asked anyway.... Or even asked aswell!! Its seems we are needing a lot more not just replacing some as I thought.... Blimy!

I was involved in putting forward Shaz_n_Tony's name for consideration as Ops and have no problem with their acceptance. The decision was down to the other Ops.
The north west has the biggest number of members on this site; a lot of clubs are in the midlands wider area and the members are very active on this site.
If you persist in your argumentative mode then be very careful about breaching the site AUP.
And that goes for everyone else too!

i actually said in a post fair play for picking people on their merit. and im not having a go at any ops at all,
it is a known fact tha when the chatroom is busy there can be 1500+ members onsite.
we need more ops more mods to police the site as it grows, and as i further stated if we had lots moe ops my concerns woul dno longer be a point that i need worry about as more ops potentially = less chatroom abuse
ok if more OP's were picked......and you were not asked to be one......would you have a problem with that?

my main gripe is that people said they was picked on ability shown to run rooms, i stated ops have approached us to open new room if one is clossing or is on dissaray.
if there was more ops, i would not get people come to us for help and advice about room abuse or problems with things happening in a room that should not be(recently kids on cam) and with me being a do gooder and responsible site user i spend 20 / 30 mins huntin an op down that is online. (and for the record he was NOT in the mids room lol) and if therewas more ops i wouol dnot see so much abuse that i would feel so passionate about stopping it.
well now that there are three new mods....some of the problems that you have had and seen....can be dealt with quicker!......so at the moment problem solved!

its in the AUP of chat that those names cannot be used, when they have something in the AUP about using animal names then you can be questioned. Is this just a problem i have , maybe ? i stated an opinion and was not abusive. telling me to get a grip isnt very polite.

Some may not have known of hin till now but a whole heap more did and no-one has ever complained about his name.....
If feeling is that strong then I am sure Unc and admin can work together to find a suitable solution....

Why shouldn't ops get angry? They are site users like you and I!!! Just because they moderate shouldn't mean they feel any less angry about twatty arguments!!!! They key is how that issue is dealt with .. and if you want dirty laundry airg in public then why shouldn't the ops answer in the same vein?
And seeing as there is now an additional divide on the forums with the advent of the chatroom forum ...... can we have this moved over there save cluttering up the normal forum with chatroom gripes? (tongue firmly in cheek)

theres lots of names i have objected to in the rooms and not reported because quite frankly i have better things to be doing. however, when an inapropriate username is given a yellow star, i think its naive to not expect some complaints, afterall, he's now alot more visible and holds significant responsibility

just want to say i am not dissing the person himself i did say that when i raised it. i dont know him and im sure if he has been chosen to be a op then he must be a ok guy, i was justraising the id name with regards to the AUP.
