Would you pay for half a service on any other site? No you wouldnt but since last year we have been told this new beta chat will take some setting up and old chat will return to normal service NOT Be patient be patient well patience has run out! Since September we have been lucky to get on majority of the time, esp in evenings. We work during the day when site is prob less busy. We get messages from friends that we have made online asking where we been? are we still alive? have we left the site? Time to sort it out SH coz we for one cpl wont be paying for another years subscriptiion when we dont get full service! Would you pay for a train fare when you know it will only take you half there?????? :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x and seeing as I can read the forums every time i log in I know we are not the only ones who think this am sure this will be closed very quickly as usual ( I have no beef with the ops btw)
Angel You are quite right its pretty attrocious that you have to try and try to access the chatrooms. It is just luck if you happen to try and enter the chat room and a space is free. I doubt we will be renewing our membership if this situation continues.
We agree Angel n H and we have, as you have raised a complaint to the same,see below: I know maintenance of the site is necessary but over the lost 6 months its seems to have been a permanent occurrance. It seems it is now not possible to enter server 1 immediately. After logging on as you know we are sent to the first avaialable server, which is either 2 or 3, on requesting move to server 1 via take me to button, a window appears saying server 1 is full try again later, this is bunkom server 1 is never full, it takes a while and a lot of moving between servers to acquire access to server 1. Also profiles have not been avaialble for some time, when clicking onto member and requesting to view profiles all that comes up is the sign in page, once again we need to sign in, wven though already on the site, to gain access to any form of profiles. over the last 10 days it has even been the case that the site has not been recognise, it seems it does not exist. I do understand that maintenance is required but it is now infringing on my enjoyment and also on the contract in which I entered into with you when I paid to join the site. In view of the many distruptions that I have had to endure over the last year, for which you accepted my subscription of £50 as aforementioned, I would expect nothing less than a part refund of subscriptions, or a free upgrade in way of an apology. : This being the reply :- The data base has been moved onto 2 new servers using a more stable configuration this evening, it will need a little fine tuning but it should resolve the recent problems that we were having. :x :x :x So yes we totally agree why should we pay for half a service We have no beef with ops either

Here here guys!! I must admit i have been quite lucky to get in recently but the servers do keep crashing and rooms or room lists disappear!! I think after months and months of testing surely we should have an accessible chatroom by now???!!! Fewer and fewer folk are gonna renew their membership if this problem isnt rectified soon!
yes have tried but pc just locks up every time plus friends we have made dont use new chat why should I have to choose between friends and new chat??????????? soz felix that isnt any help whatsoever we have paid to use this site and if all i wanted to do was post in forums i can do that hundreds of free sites

and thank you for throwing all you fellow swingers who use the forums more than the chatrooms "under the bus" so to speak........thanks for being really condesending, if that is the attitude then we are not one big family.. as i saw at a munch on saturday night!!! shame but there we go yes there have been problems... heck we all deal with them..... yes we all get frustrated from time to time... but like it has been mentioned there are other parts of the site for you to use.... yes we all get the "server full" message from time to time, but is that really an excuse to throw a paddy.......... do you think they are doing on purpose just to get your back up?????? seriously....think about all the man hours they have probably spent on this project... and the amount of times they have beta tested the new room... do you ever look at the glass as being half full.... or is it always half empty with you.... and seeing that you only actually tend to use "us forums" when you are complaining... i wonder what impression others have of you........ oh... by the way... look forward to meeting you at a munch someday.......
Thats the test link, if you could pop the results on a ticket one of the dev guys will take a look, mostly there can be issues with firewall settings and in one case everything worked ok after rebooting their router, with a bit of dialogue we can normally sort things.
well just for your information Fabio i dont even get the server full message i just get greyed out and also for your information I dont just use forum to complain!! read the other posts i have put on site i.e songs. quotes, pics etc!!!! but if i so choose to only use chat then i have the right to do so thats what i pay my 50 quidfor!!! this is the failure that is causing the problem. When I run the test I get success on every test. (And I'm not having problems with chat). Various computers, different spec of machine, different operating systems. All running up to date antivirus and firewalls. Router has firewall built in also. BTopenworld. 8mb adsl connection. Ian

As has been stated over and over and over again, SH cannot be responsible for individuals PC set-up and compatability issues, nor the use of blocking software such as firewalls, proxy blockers etc. nor the performance of your ISP. These are issue YOU need to resolve, either in setting up your pc to work with the site, or speaking to your ISP to allow the port access - proxy servers are shite at the best of times, and often block bone-fide traffic, and ISP's are notorious for blocking access, especilly Arseholes On Line

Sorry Ian but only in evenings what can change when i log out in morn shutdown pc come home dine then fire pc up try to get into chat ( without opening any other program or site) and cant get into chat??? thank you for your reply, I see you are trying to help and not just making assumptions about me and my pc ( or the other ones in my house) we use tiscali upto 4mb and as stated generally have no probs in mornings I started this topic as I am frustrated at intermediatley being able to get into chat not as a personal attack on anyone shame I cant say that of some of those who are replying who dont know me or H at all. Which also use large font inxase it offends someone.................. for gods sake!!!!
wtf trying to help here? firstly there is no need for the big writing - won't get you anywhere secondly, I have been able to log into the chatroom - on every server, every night since Xmas thirdly I am not rude just stating facts mods where's the keys for this? some people don't listen :roll:
