I found the main chatroom fine, but then went onto the jacuzzi one, & couldn't get back onto the main one. Apologies if I'm being thick, but how can I get back into the main one?

If you mean the Pool as the main one - you have to wait until there are less than 100 people in it.

note that the number shown only updates once each time you click 'rooms', its not like the old chat which in realtime updated the count, so you can see 98 but its already up at 100

Which is a major pain in the arse and a retrograde step IMHO. I guess we have to accept it in the name of "progress" but in reality its just poor specification of the software requirements on behalf of the sites owners
