A Trip Down Memory Lane

After nearly 2 years we decided on the spur of the moment to take a trip out with a couple we know who had never been to that sort of place to see how much things had changed during our absence.
Although we had no intention of doing a show Mrs D2 still decided to dress up.
We arrived at one of our local sites with a very nervous couple in tow and were very surprised to only see one car pass through.
After a while we decided to move on to the other close site that was always busy,and things there had,nt changed at all with cars everywhere and arriving and departing regularly.
One single guy seeing 2 cars with 2 couples in approached after a few minutes and struck up a conversation with me, i said it was just a social visit after a long absence and he seemed quite happy to just chat although maybe Mrs D2 in a shiny red pvc mini skirt with stockings and thigh boots was more on his mind.
I asked general questions as to how things had changed over the time asking how many couples seem to stop by and was most surprised to be informed that the car parked right down the end with a couple in was as he described "pay per view" that to me is in no way any form of dogging.
Unknowingly we had parked near another couple and soon struck up a conversation with them and as Mrs D2 by this time had consumed 1/2 a bottle of wine was now out of our car and joining in the chat we were then invited to do a full swap with them once again is this dogging ????.
Soon we had about 6 guys hanging around us all looking at the scenery, but this was soon down to none when the police arrived, we had seen them before but never park up and stay for over 15 minutes maybe they thought Mrs D2 was worth a longer look as she had not moved and was continuing her chat with the other couple.
The very nervous couple who came along with us for the ride seemed very daunted by all the male attention and she did,nt want to get out,reminding us of our 1st visit approximately 5 years ago when Mrs D2 was exactly the same.
Another couple who had been sat a little further away from us drove over to have a word with us just as the police came in for a 2nd visit which i think spooked them a little as soon after the police left so did they.
We soon had our audience again and although they knew we had no intention of doing anything they seemed happy just to chat or maybe just oggle rolleyes

One dogger on a m/bike came and went a few times and seeing a guy in leathers seemed to have an effect on Mrs D2 as just before we left after several well mannered requests she let her puppies out and played with them for an appreciative audience.
Afetr this visit i am not sure if or when we would return to maybe do a little more but 2 things that happened that night make me wonder, ie "pay per view" "full swap" is this the way dogging has now gone ? we always thought different.

Firstly, welcome back kiss

great to see you both posting again.
Secondly, yes dogging does seem to have changed in the last 12 months, and for us, not for the better. It does seem to have moved to a more 'outdoor' swinging than people just wanting to watch. I know that is what a lot of people want, so maybe it has evolved due to demand, but a bit sad for us old foggies who like to be a bit naughty with each other rather than half the car park wink

We have not been out for proper dogging for ages but that has been due to the place we liked the best being closed off, and all the other sites near to us can get a bit over run. We still have a few places where we go for some peace and quiet (and a bit of naughty fun) but they are not used as dogging spots as such, so we know that we don't get caught.
As for the guys being happy to just stand around and talk, well, are you supprised? Have you seen Mrs D2 lol

of course they were happy to stand around a chat :wink:

Interesting reading D2
You had the bad fortune to chose what was by all accounts(and I got there late, but you were still there and hadnt left yet, on the grass talking to one of the cpls you mentioned with the guys standing around) the busiest night down there for years. Dont know what to put it down to aside from a lovely mild evening and everybody being frisky due to the nice weather.
Anyway 8 or so couples out across the sites that evening, and as you pointed out no end of single guys, I didnt leave til gone 2am and traffic was still flowing between sites up and down the road. I guess after a 5 year break things are bound to have changed a bit, i dont know you can define dogging under one narrow umbrella, but to me, its about waiting for a couple to arrive, try and engage them in conversation and take it from there, ideally hoping she will be looking to play with single guys, if not, watching them it thats all they are after, but it all depends on what your looking for as to how you class dogging.
New faces have certainly been showing up, which was badly needed, I find that new couples, and there are always expections, like to either show, or light play and interaction with the doggers. A good first experience is vital, and the new couples seem to be coming back, however had they tried there first time on the night you went down, things might have been different.
Must have been quite the eye opener for the other couple you were in the car with, I will say again as above, it was crazy with people that night, I dont think I have ever seen it so busy in the years i have been going, its not so bad as that most weekends now, and weeknights are even more sedate, a combination of a few things, the nice evening, something in the air, saturday night, meant for a larger turnout than usual.
Will be interesting to see if tomorrow night has such a turnout, I hear theres a certain football game kicking off at even though its meant to be a decent mild evening again, surely after having a few beers during the game, the turnout will be down from last week lol.

Hi NWC, hope you are both keeping well, it certainly seems to have changed a lot since we last ventured out, whether this was a 1 of or a new beginning who knows, but it certainly was an enjoyable night seeing mrs D2 attracting attention again,i know she enjoyed it. :flipa:

Hi Andrew, Yes it was certainly very busy in fact i dont think we have seen that much activity in all the time we used to frequent on a regular basis, if you saw us there why did,nt you wander over and say hi.??. dunno

Didnt know it was you in the car until i read your post today and figured it out, the bit with the 2 cpls in one car gave it away.
And I didnt approach anyway, due to you being parked next to the other couple and it looked like the last thing you needed was another single guy standing next to the car.

Nice to see you back guys. We have done little outdoor fun of late due to our nearby sites being oversubscribed by people who arent dogging. It seems that National Trust are using night time tours and nature rambles to disrupt us LOL.
Dont discount the game though guys, because the things you describe have happened at various sites all over that we know, and not just recently, it has always happened. The sites go in cycles and eventually when they are at their peak they have a shelf life because the dogger grape vine spoils them with overcrowding. This has always happened, just happens a wee bit quicker these days due to the internet. Of course in ancient times the couples would have established a new site and restarted the cycle somewhere fresh, however since most of the couples dont communicate like they used to because they do all their arranging via the net, this doesnt happen so efficiently.
It will happen though, some bright couple who love their dogging will move on to a nice new site, they will do the naughty regularly and one night a lone dogger will watch them. He will tell a mate who will tell some more and within a month or so it will be the perfect site with just enough watchers and a few regular players. Then slowly it will degrade to impossible and thats when plod turn up. Just keep yer ear to the ground, OR be that bright couple.
