Sincere apologies to anyone who turned up to meet me tonight for my non-appearance. We have just spent over three hours in a massive jam on the M1, caused by a serious accident. It took just over three hours to travel the 10 miles to where we could turn off again....the return journey took us 10 minutes, so that should give you some idea just how bad it was.
Sorry guys, but there was nothing we could do. We were well and truly stuck!

Yeah we turned up and froze our bits off, have lost your number since last time so couldnt even get in touch to see where you heard about the M1 but thought you might know a different way, never mind see you another day as i know you will have missed the evening as much as those who turned up

Unfortunately, joining the M1 from the M45, there is no option to turn straight off again, it's just a one-way filter lane. Once you're on, you're stuck til the next junction....10 miles. We left home at , got home at Three and a quarter of those four hours were spent stuck in the jam!
