Bad sign??

after loosing faith in the chance dogging scene at more known locations.....
have been chatting with a cpl for AGES now....
Finally got a meeting sorted for this evening that we can both agree on, ironed out all the creases, agreed limits and boundaries, a venue and time and even what colour underwear my lady be wearing DUM DUM DAAAAAA..........
then at the 11th hour we send a text (already had the fem/fem phone chat ages ago) confirming time ets, then get a message back saying Erm we are really busy at mo, mbe the time we agreed too early, we got loads to do.....
Bad sign????? confused

yeah jo-lee we have been direct but the venue is a bit of a distance (middle of both our areas) and as such mbe the journey could be wasted at like the 11 and 3/4 hr if you know what i mean.
have spent ages sorting details etc as well be a shame sad

one of the pitfalls with assuming "arranged" meets are a more reliable option i'm afraid lol

thats the abridged version :lol: i did do the long, considered reply, but unfortunately the new format swingingheaven isn't tolerant of my epic ramblings :lol: so its short, and to the point from now on :lol:
harryjones had about three "no shows" in a row..it wouldn't have been funny, but it was the best weekend to date at our regular haunt..harry was 200 miles away :lol:
for some people, fantasy, when driven to reality, often feels cold and clinical..the closer it gets, the colder it feels, so people stall for time, try to push it forwards a little, in order to get more from the fantasy..they won't turn up..they don't want the reality, they only fool themselves that they do..they'll re-arrange, or contact another always has a variable script which produces a favourable outcome for those imagining the scenario ahead...in fact, its the "real" non fantasy aspect of dogging that appeals to us wink

All spot on sadly, I've arranged other things than dogging in the past and at the moment I'd say at least 66% of people reconsider at the last minute (based on a very scientific count on two hands lol

).
If you forget for a second that it's dogging and apply 11th hour excuses to anything else, it really is just rude - but a pitfall of arranged meets that you do quickly learn to expect, unfortunately dunno

I know it gets annoying when people dont show/cancel at the last moment....but im sure many of them have legitimate reasons, whatever they may be, or simply arent up for it at the time. Panic often sets in that your on the way to meet a lunatic...

I think what sex is trying to say is that when you are meeting someone for the first time and you dont really know them. They could turn out to be anyone! and you can bottle out of the meeting! I felt like that meeting one couple once, but i went for it and as it turned out they were a nice couple and we had a great time biggrin

Arranging a dogging meet in advance is like having a surprise birthday party and sending the guest of honour an invitation .

If people aren't up for it at the time then they simply shouldn't make arrangements with people!
I've tried an ad for an arranged meet for the first time and although something may happen with a couple or two who've been in touch, most of the response has been guys wanting to "take" me dogging rolleyes

- I'm not pinning my hopes on it as I still think the traditional way is best!
