I realise this post should be under "warnings for doggers" but I would be grateful if the admins could leave it here for a couple of days to make sure it is seen......read on to see why. At the VERY well known Brighton site, a few weeks ago, a team of three cars appeared containing "boy racer types". The cars were an old shape grey Escort, a red Rover 25 and a little Citroen. There are 9 guys in these cars in total, they keep in touch by mobile phone. Nothing new so far I hear you say............alas, this is different! These guys are well into their 20's (not the usual 18 year olds) they are all around the 6ft mark, and they are NOT intimidated by the doggers in the least. If challenged, the leave their cars and hurl rocks and abuse at those people and cars present. To prevent retaliation, several of them are armed with baseball and cricket bats. We have heard a couple of whispers (from users of this and other sites), that in the last week, someone was attacked with a knife! They start their operations, by turning up in the car park, yelling "is there any action tonight" at the top of their voices, the object seems to be to tempt someone to approach them, when they leave their cars and start getting violent! We have learned to our cost, that any couples present are chased at high speed (we hit 90mph!) if they try to leave, and attempts are made to overtake and force the couple to stop. We were chased all the way back into Worthing, from Brighton, until we lost them in the back streets. We have avoided the site to see if the problem would fade away. Tonight (Mon 19th July) we tried the site to see if the problem had improved, within minutes, they turned up in a very old, large Renault saloon and started hurling abuse from the car using an amplified public address system. We left immediately, fortunately, the old Renault could not keep up and we lost them easily on the A27. Two things arise from this, one being that this site is now, and for the foreseeable future, a no-go area. The other point is that the "regulars" were not present tonight, we assume they have moved to pastures new. We would be grateful if someone could PM us with the "new" location being used.
Well it look like your right, best be avoided for the time being...!! Why do people have to ruin everything... I was a regular there but wont be anymore. If anyone know where everyone has gone then i'd like to know to... Thanks
What are the prices at the pub like now ? And is the hotel still open ? I was thinking of having a few days up there soon and I really do not want to be kept awake by people screaming as they are attacked. Oh, has anyone passed the info to the police ? Yes, I know, but really guys...people wandering about with clubs and knives threatening people......knives are serious stuff...you don't carry a blade to show you're a man, you carry it to hurt someone badly. None of the gay sites have any info on this.....which I find strange.
To the best of my knowledge, the Police are aware. The gang (for want of a better word) are NOT targeting gays and seem to be keeping well away from the usual gay car park on the site.....they are after single hetro guys and couples apparently. There is not much posted anywhere at the moment, which is why we have placed this thread. I'm afraid I cannot comment on how strange lack of postings, on any site, may be as obviously, people react differently to various situations. In the meantime, we are thankful for JTS helping to identify the site on open forum, and are glad he seems to find the situation amusing. Perhaps if we asked the guy who was slashed with a knife, and the two guys we know of that have had their cars "bricked" by this gang to contact him, he can explain to them how hilarious it is!

Had bricked, had w/screen baseball-bat-bashed, had car covered in milk-shake, had threats, had megaphone and had life threatened. All there is in life is amusement; some funny, some dire and some groan-inducing. I'll be down there soon, got a family-thing and then the pride parade. Maybe I'll take a trip up memory lane and visit the view at night. Meanwhile...from another website (the asterisks mask the name which WAS given...) another quote.....and if you can think of a valid reason to give a warning without giving the location...... And if the police were not aware before, they are now.
I was told today from a dogger that someone got stabbed up there, fight with doggers, police all over it at ****** **** .So please be careful if you go up if anyone knows anything else please post here

One can only hope that the "dogging-police" causing the trouble have ascertained the location of their parents before they set-out on their trouble-making trip. Otherwise they may get a shock. Maybe there is no problem at the other car-park because they get their fun at that one ?
This appears to be a growing problem. Friends told me about a worrying evening at W***** recently, where a 4x4 and 2 vans turned up, men piled out & started hauling people out of the woods. Another post on here referred to a Facebook page used by people who organize forays to dogging sites to cause trouble. Given the nature of the internet, the phenomenon seems to be spreading, with these self-appointed ' protectors of public safety ' cropping up more widely. I've been mentioning this to some of the folks I meet so they are aware of the possibility & can be careful. Wrt the Facebook page, I informed a mate who has contacts in the police. He made enquiries and they are onto the page. He was told by his sources that they ( the police ) aren't so much bothered by the cruising / dogging that goes on, but they are bothered about those causing trouble. Of course, the whole business is pretty loathsome. Things are certainly pear-shaped when people who want to have harmless fun are targeted by others who plainly have some sort of mental disorder, or at the very least are getting no sex themselves and can't therefore bear to see others having it.
Note to JTS..... Valid reason for giving warning without location......IT BREAKS THIS SITES RULES TO GIVE LOCATIONS IN OPEN FORUM......I trust you are Ok with that, if not, perhaps you should take it up with the site administrators??????????
I trust you have read through the "warnings for doggers", which is replete with locations. Indeed, a warning about a place is no good unless the place is mentioned. I could warn people about the local on here in your manner: "hey guys, there's been loads of trouble at a layby in the east midlands, better keep away from it" Lot of use: Not. Getting registration numbers would have been even more useful.
Oh dear! We are holier than thou........you spotted the location quickly enough, as would all the locals who use the site.......we were just following the rules. Likewise, having had a VERY scary experience, and knowing of people who have been hurt and have had serious property damage, we felt it prudent to spread the word. Unfortunately, the predilection some seem to have for turning everything in to a joke, regardless of other peoples hurt and damage, is something we did not take into account. We apologise to JTS if we have somehow offended his particular sense of "rightness" and we feel sure that he will be compelled to have the last word! However, to all the other people who must be well aware of the location we are talking about......Take care people, it's bloody dangerous on that site at this time!
...some weeks ago we mentioned that we tried to go dogging at a well know set of carparks on the hills above Brighton and what a horrible exprience it was - only to be told that this is the way things are if you go dogging by the same person who started this post. We do not mean thugs with bats - just idiots in cars - always single guys, who pester you to death and then follow you up and down, try to pin you in a carpark and even chase you for miles if you leave the site - one guy would not stop until we were nearly at Lewes. Whilst in no way do we ever condone threats or violence, the whole thing was probably triggered by these idiots chasing anything with wheels and anyone with legs - male or female, with absolutely no consideration to anyone else, and totally ruining dogging in Brighton. At the'gay' carpark at one end, there is a constant stream of guys going into the bushes with each other in broad daylight with no thought for normal walkers and sight see-ers. Is it any surprise that the thugs are out. By the way - we have been dogging for about 6 years and are very experienced, have had some wonderful experiences - as have the lucky well mannered guys and couples - dozens of them, that have been lucky enough to see mrs V do a show and more - we never even think of this place anymore when we goi out. Now the site is ruined - and we have moved on - such is life. So if you are well mannered, clean and like dogging in the SE - we can tell you where there are plenty of sites...
Right here is my take on this. The dogging police and vigilantes are a myth. These rumours are all being started by people who want dogging to return to what it used to be before the car parks filled up with wannabe nohopers. To achieve this they first started rumours about 'The Dogging Police' and set up a facebook group. When this didn't work and the places were still buzzing with wannabes and nohopers they took to going out in gangs and scaring everyone off in the hope that the dogging craze created by the internet went away and dogging returned to a few reliable blokes in a car park looking for fun. I may be wrong though.
