Hi, have sent you a PM......
There is info on the law in relation to dogging on some threads on the forum already. In short, yes, unless someone complains, consenting sex between adults in public is not illegal. The only exception to this is having sex in public loos, which, thanks to the Sexual Offences Act 2003, is now a sexual offence. There are some sexual offences that relate to dogging, but the key is someone complaining. Check out this link, it is the Sexual Offences Act 2003 in full, but I have directed you to sections 66, 67, and 71, which are the relevant ones. I have posted it before, but maybe it needs to be posted again:
I was at cusworth last friday when police came into carpark.
They handed out leaflets stating that they know of illegal activities being carried out in area and that any further complaints would result in chargers being made against people.
living in the area as i do i also know that cusworth is used buy boy racers and drug users so iam not too sure who the leaflets where actually aimed at.
That sounds like what police are doing in several parts of the country at the mo. They are not targetting doggers specifically, they are more interested in the real criminals.... including though that prey on doggers! There are an increasing number of nutters going to dogging locations with the intent of violently harming doggers, robbing them, or damaging their vehicles. The police in some areas have explicitly said that any dogger experiencing crime at a location should report it to them and they will deal with it sympathetically. I was at a location in Bolton a couple of months ago and a gang of lads turned up with weapons. Funnily enough, the police turned up shortly afterwards. I reported that I had seen the weapons the lads were carrying to the cops. They were very nice - despite the fact that I was dressed in not a lot and obviously there for sexual purposes redface
The police have to act on complaints from the public so they will move doggers on and they will act if they actually see sexual acts being committed. But if you're careful you won't have any probs with the police.
