I have been going out for a couple of years now, mostly at weekends. Been to various locations around Northamptonshire and have never seen a couple. Lots of gays, but no couples. Often I'm out between and midnight. Do couples not go out at the weekend?
Hi I am Andy also from Northamptonshire. I have to admit like yourself I have gone out on occusions hoping to met couples etc, but usually with very little luck. On the times I do get luckly the place is soon full of guys etc. So I have given up on this. I think the best way is to have planned outdoor meets. It is maybe not what you was hoping for but at least you do not waste hours of your life sitting in th dark and cold just hoping. Andy Andy
we go out regularly and enjoy a mixture of random and pre arranged meets - most dogging sites were originally gay cruising sites then the doggers moved in and were followed by str8 guys and boy that the majority of couples have become bored with dogging and moved to swinging clubs the gays are noticably in the majority. its very rare to see a couple out now and usually they get mobbed as soon as they appear which puts them off. we've seen couples being chased all nite by horny single guys and even known them to be followed home. there are couples out on a friday , saturday and sunday but very rare nowadays and they tend to only want one guy at a time at their car or they will be looking for other couples. also i notice that most guys will rarely get out of their cars - they prefer to sit with their lights on which only annoys everyone. the current trend is for guys to drive around in circles all night and then moan that they never see anything. There is still a lot of fun to be had at the dogging sites but it wont come to you - but guys need to get out of their cars and walk about and talk to people.

This is very informative information and I can tell you are experienced in this area. But I am sure you will agree with me, that because of the few couples there are turning up, there are more horny and annoyed men. This in turn puts off the couples that do turn up.. So has turned into a vicious circle. Though I am very sure that soon the number of single men will drop as they get fed up with the lack of any shows, and this will allow the couples to come back.. I have to say until this time I will only be doing planned met within Northamptonshire
Although I have nothing against planned meets, the reasons put forward as to why they are the way forward baffle me. Dogging is about sitting in a car park for hours on end, maybe seeing no-one, until one night you get lucky. By arranging to meet at at a specific location negates the origins of dogging. It's akin to playing football, where you run around for 90 minutes until the final whistle blows. Now people are ignoring the 90 minutes of the game and only want the result without playing the game!! Sitting and waiting is all part and parcel of the game. Mal
Sorry to disillusion people, but the signs are that the mass of single guys is getting larger. The site that AngelBengal "knows" is active virtually 24/7. The overspill lane is also active from early to late (there is a proposal to make it one-way only before the county council....on account of the guys going at ridiculous speeds for a single-lane road) During the week nights the laybys are packed with trucks, and the drivers have a tendency to mob anyone going in. "my" layby has an infestation of said trucks, one asda truck spends an hour every weekday night just driving up-and-down....bearing in mind that means a 360 turn on a dual carriageway !!!! Last weekend there was a family night out at another dogging site near me....that is, a family (1 mother, 3 daughters and two boyfriends) spent a few hours "watching the doggers" Another site in herts has the "vigilant residents" watching it, and taking reg numbers and pictures....mainly gay guys at the moment...but spring isn't far away. Sorry, people are not going to stop going, even if they only get lucky once a year they are going to keep arriving. Every few minutes. Last year I had two guys arrive in one car, get out and walk around, then they start telling the gay guys to go away...they're putting the couples off....(yeah, with a dozen trucks there...as if). Eventually they get around to me.... Eventually, sense took over and they left. After a fashion. Yes, you can arrange things all you like, but please do it in a travel hotel...leave the laybys and carparks for the SERIOUS people. After all, you are just dogging groupies. Car parks are getting closed every day (national trust carparks near me are going to be locked at night soon), those that are open are becoming camered up at an alarming rate. Those that are open are getting cleared of trees and bushes and having lighting installed. Have a read: The police are getting ever-so-mildly sarcastic nowadays, apparently the majority of guys in carparks have "had a row with the missus", the others are "too tired to drive"
Yes things do happen in Northamptonshire but it takes time and you must be patient, bit like the lottery. We go out, not every week or even every month sometimes but just when the mood takes us. We see very few couples about when we are out and have been going out a lot longer than a couple of years. Seeing another couple is a bit like getting 4 numbers on the lottery it happens about that often maybe we are very unlucky or going to the wrong places but thats what dogging is about, being in the right place at the right time. So it doesn't matter if you are a single guy or a couple your chances are still the same. Your time and place will come one day sismile
dogging started off as guys using the excuse that they were going to take the dog for a walk to get away from their wives and meet up with either males or females at laybys and car parks etc. if the single guys stopped going what would be the point in couples going - i thought the majority go to be watched. unfortunately there is a tendency for guys to consider that they have the sole rights to a couple. remember guys - if a couple isnt interested - leave them alone - remember no means no. pre arranging is almost the same as dogging as you never know if the other person will turn up - as for the truckers - the majority wait in the cabs for the gay guys to park in front and flash their brake lights.

must be rita - we warn ppl about her when we arange to meet - she is a pain and not averse to telling a few porkies to guys waiting for us in order to make a few quid - why anyone would want to pay when theres so much available free i dont know - however the best way is to tell her to f*ck off - why pay a tv when theres a ts and female there not wanting payment?
