I took a trip upto a fell in lancashire last week to check out its possibilities for late night fun with my wife this week or next. Although it is quite out the way I was surpised at how few (probably no more than 3 cars in the night) appeared. There seems to be lots of potential for fun, and as my wife likes to entertain, we would like to go up there some time, but only if there are people to entertain. I visited midweek, and wondered if any of the more local doggers new if it got busy at a weekend. We are a genuine couple and my wife has entertained quite a few guys near a resrvoir in Bolton, we just fancy trying somehwere new.

Cryptic it isn't, but you haven't given out exact directions, locations, or times, so you have abided by the rules!
Anyone in the area will know which "fell" and which reservoir you are on about though! The "fell" you are talking about isn't used for dogging as far as I know, and it certainly doesn't get busy at the weekends. It did get some press coverage last year, but this was a storm in a tea cup. As you say, it is out of the way, and probably not one that would ever become a really useful location for a lot of people. I'm not saying that people don't go there for sex, cos they definately do, but I reckon these people want to be quiet and if an influx of doggers happened upon the place, these people would go elsewhere and there would be nothing at all to watch!
Stick to Bolton is my advice.
Thanks blue, we are still learning to be cryptic, it looks like we will be back round Bolton some time, problem is the drive is too long, and every time we get there it starts to rain.
we'll let you know by PM Jo, but it is usually a spur of the moment thing on the way home after a night out, depends how horny we are feeling
I too have wondered about the fell you mention, and have been there on a few occasions myself.......
It is an idyllic dogging venue, apart from it’s location is a bit off the beaten track. Oh they also have Wardens, although I have never seen one at night….

I would advise that you avoid said fell after dark=- a male friend and I were driving there in his car one evening purely for the pleasure of a drive in the counryside and the hills. Anyway, be warned that after dark the area is patrolled by community officers who can be VERY nosy. We were stopped and repatedly asked if we were carrying drugs, what were we doing etc.
Of course this may be due to our age etc as much as anything, but the strong implication was that there was some trouble going on there.
. However, some of the best dogging goes on in the rain
