I have to keep the topic going until we get a feedback from the NWC about the bench.
Judging by the results i think most people will be out to buy a picnic table for the garden to offer the use of to other doggers, :idea: a back garden meet mmmmm, but then only if the garden is a few acres :shock:

I was trying to aviod this, even though I did vote for the bench!
Well the weekend was what you could describe as a bit of a disaster! We went to the planned venue on Saturday night through thick fog, down unknown single track country lanes, next thing a bloody sheep ran out in front of us and we had to swerve to avoid it and nearly turned the car over (well maybe a bit of an exageration, but it felt like we were going to turn over).
When we got to the site, it was full and we struggled to find somewhere to park! Within a few mins we were surrounded by cars parked very, very close (ok, I know the car park was full and there was not much room left but they did park closer than they needed to). One car on my side was about three feet away and he sat with his window open smoking his head off, I could have shared his cig he was that close, and the bloke on the other side of the car just kept staring at us! Creepy or what!
After about half an hour we decided to call it a day and drove out only to find the fog had got worse and we didnt know our way back! Eventually we found an A road and followed that back to civilsation! We then found a nice little car park with no cars in and stayed and had fun on our own (no benches though).
We tried again at our usual site over the weekend and I am now convinced that dogging is not for me! I dont know what it is, but I think I have just lost my nerve! The site was fairly quiet for a change and had just two very well mannered doggers, but I just could not make that move! No matter what Mr NWC said, I just didnt feel comfortable in doing anything!
So at this moment in time, I am seriously thinking about whether I want to carry on with dogging or do we now think about calling it a day!
Sorry to be such a damp squid, but not feeling very good about myself at the moment! It may (and hopefully, will) pass but when, I just dont know ............

Aww, i feel what you are feeling naughty...
I was out one night and i got all the way down to naked then got freaked out, there wasnt even anyone else there. I think i was just freaked out as it was so quiet and i was scared. But then i think it may be diff if it was more well lit? D wanted to stay but i made him drive home. Maybe its just coz im a baby dogger or maybe i am scared of the dark lol.

Aww! I'm sure the feelings will pass. Well I hope they will anyway
I also felt like that a while back after a couple of scary experiences involving young lads/boy racers/thugs :shock:
We went out several times in the weeks following these occurances and no matter what I tried, I just could not do anything except glare at any dogger who happened to walk within 10 feet of our car. Never even took my coat off, let alone anything else
However, I missed doing it sooo much after about 6 or 8 weeks, I just had to try again and found I still enjoyed it :P
There seem to be precious few of us showing couples and I'm quite sure if you were to stop, not only would you both miss it, but so would your dogging pals too
Give yourself a break and then come back to it, but don't even think about leaving the site :shock:

I must say it is one of the things my wife has said in the past. It is just not worth the hassle or the danger. And in the year or so i have been sitting in car parks i must say that i haven't had much luck. But then at the same time i do still get the thrill of driving there and then parking up, but as i put in a post earlier my local site is invested with kids and i dont feel comfortable there, so how is a lady going to.
As to moving away from dogging, are you still interested in "outside swinging"?

Aww, thanks TJ and Blondie, just dont know what has got into me! I have never been the most adventerous, but I do nearly always have some fun!
On our last outing over the weekend, Mr NWC and myself went to our usual place and started having a bit of a kiss and cuddle (well, more really) and then I heard someone approaching (think thats what they call dogging) and I just froze! I put my coat back on and just could not go any further! Infact the dogger turned out to be a doger who we know quite well, but I just could not do anything!
Anyway, I have no intention of leaving the site, but think I may just let things slide for a while take time to decide what I want to do (untill weekend that is, when I want to go out again)

That is something we have been talking about, do we start doing organised meets. i have always been pretty much against this as it is not what I wanted to do and felt that by arranging to meet someone, I was possibly misleading them into thinking there may be more on offer than what actually is on offer (you know what I mean). But we are now starting to think that this is something we may try, but will just include the line about no promises of involvement!
