Hi all, I'm not sure if this should be posted here or in the cafe?
I am a newbie and posted an ad about dogging in South Bucks. It was read by loads of members but not one offered advice on sites in the area. I scanned through other ads and it seemed to me that any other newbies seeking information on dogging also were read by hundreds but got little or no response.
Can someone tell me why that is? I am reluctant to say this but.... has it anything to do with experienced doggers not wishing to open up the experience? I am not wishing to insult anyone, I am just trying to understand if I and others are doing something wrong or misunderstanding the rules.
Hope someone can help.
Cheers
Graham
Come on people....I am being controversial! You experienced doggers must have something to say, surely!
(and, don't call me shirley!)
Maybe they are all out? They are probably reticent about giving locations because of you being unknown? You could be police or press.
Thanks for that Bev. How is one to join in? Or am I really being stupid?

This could be because they have no idea who you are. The last thing anyone wants is a load of boy racers or policemen turning up and spoiling a veune.

Nah, just a lack of trust.. quite rightly too.
If you looked behind many of the posts asking for details, you'll find a married man out to cheat on his wife or someone who thinks dogging means that they are guaranteed to get laid.

To be honest, I wouldn't know, we haven't been dogging. Probably best waiting until some of the more experienced doggers log in and see your thread.
Lets be really controversial now!
Isn't there something about dogging being a little anonymous; non-judgemental; and to somne extent carrying a certain sense of adventure and risk?

Who's being judgemental?
I don't think anyone's said it still can't be anonymous, but the 'sense of adventure and risk' doesn't extend to the risk of having your face or arse plastered all over the papers in a new expose of dogging.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't dogging watching people shag without it being planned? If so, why do you want to know locations? Maybe you could drive around likely spots on the off chance of seeing someone shagging?

Indeed but read some of the more recent threads and i am sure you will agree that when a site is spoilt it has a drastic effect on an area.
The authorties will take action and make what was once a utopia for doggers and turn it in to a virtual ghost town.
This is not a direct rebuke of any newbie but secrecy is fast becoming a way of life for all of us. I consider myself to still be a newbie and have had very little contact with others on this site.
I am building trust with a few others on here and they know i am genuine. I can only suggest to you that you do the same.
You will at some point be involved in a meet, or you may find one of your own and then it will be down to you to pass information to others or not.
Take care.
Shad.
As you have noticed there are an awful lot of newbies who post similar questions to you own - where can we find some action?
Quite simply, they get little or no response just becuse they are new.
There is no way, I would give out location details to someone who was not known to me, either via the forum or chatroom and even then I seldom do it.
For the reasons stated above, you could be tabloid press, police, local council or just someone out to cause problems.
Look at it from our point of view - we need to protect ourselves when out dogging and telling all and sundry where we go could potentially be a threat to ourselves and any doggers who may be there.
I know it must be frustrating that you want to join in and not know where to go, but how do you think doggers got on before the days of www?
They went out and searched for places which may have had some action and waited and waited and waited . . . .
Dogging is not about making arranged meets really. It is about having the patience to sit there for hours if necessary, in the hope of seeing a little action.
However, seeing some action and being asked to join in may not always go hand in hand, so don't go dogging with the false hope of getting your leg over every time.
Contrary to what the press tell us frequently, dogging is not people having sex all over the place with multiple single males. More often than not, it's couples putting on a show only, with no participation from the doggers.
Keep trying your local area and maybe in time you will get lucky, but be prepared for many long nights of waiting and then . . . nothing.
It will make it all the more exciting then when something does happen wink
Tracy-Jayne
Thanks you guys.
I do understand the need to be careful. I will do as you all suggest as this seems to be teh only course to take.
Cheers
Graham

If we were any more open, we'd be a 24 hour convenience store.
Firstly, we didn't post on your thread because we don't know much about your area.
Second, Your post was one of a thousand (not meaning to sound rude) asking the same as everyone else. I especially get fed up with the guys who moan about spending a couple of hours in a car park and not being able to get their end away. (not directing that at yourself but if you just browse the dogging threads you'll see what Im talking about)
So I guess I'll be controversial back and ask you why you thought your post deserved a reply and what you did to make yours stand out a bit more.

Hi Graham
1. Your post was titled "Dogging Locations in Bucks" - no way to know whether it's a question, a post with information or the beginning of a discussion, so people would have to look at it to find out what it is before they could decide whether to respond. A bunch of "I don't know" responses aren't much use anyway are they? lol
2. That was your first post in here, would it have been so hard to say hello first and introduce yourself to members? There are tons of people posting exactly the same message as you did about their area, they do it so frequently that messages get pushed off the first page of the board very quickly......so the chances of responses get smaller and smaller?
3. Did you do a search on Bucks in attempt to get to know other Bucks doggers throught existing threads? Advisable in light of #2, I once saw three people in Essex post pretty much the same message on after the other but didn't reply to each others threads. dunno
4. When you were writing your second post for the dogging section, did you spend much time thinking about the fact that we've had glorious weather for several days and that no-one was around to answer your question because they were out? maybe dogging, maybe with their families, maybe doing something nice on Fathers Day?
I hope that answers some questions for you.........and whether you intended to insult anyone or not, calling people you haven't made any effort to get to know elitist is hardly likely not to insult sad

We think his responses should be interesting wink
I hope so! lol
I don't mean to bash Graham in particular, he's not due for any more criticism than anyone else but I just don't understand why people who aren't getting what they want from a community come back just to moan about it when they've made so little effort themselves (again, not aimed solely at you Graham).
P.S. I've started another thread to try to address this a little, it might work, it might not, but I tried and will now go to (dogging) heaven for my good deed wink
Oy Serendipity :!:
You are not allowed to goto Dogging Heaven till you have at least met me in a pub for a pint wink
I'm starting a petrol for getting to NW london/HErts fund as we speak.

I just looked through the dogging locations guide (see above...DOGGING)
Quite a few, been to many of them.
Try looking and then going, and waiting.
For your information: I've spent DAYS at various carparks and seen nothing.
Try arranging a "meet" with a couple who also ain't got time to waste waiting.
As has been said before, the only thing guaranteed in life is death, usually by boredom !
You could also try the Collymore approach to dogging and have a team of reporters waiting to photo you.
Oh, and if you are a rep and you photo me at a site....I'll report you to the law using the sex offences act 2003...good for a laugh what ?

And where is this dogging heaven precisely? dunno

On my new huge 21" monitor I can see your avatars better and see just how sexy they are.
Well done ladies.

Damn I thought you might, in the heat of the moment, slip up and break the site rules by publishing the location
The cellar it is then  ....just kill me slowly please , very, very slowly ..ooohhhhhhhhh redface
