What a nightmare,
To date have never had a sucsessfull dogging meet so when i finally got a firm time place and what car to look for last night thought at last and whats better even a make sure you come over and say hi :P.
So i get there spot the cpl in ? and pull up alongside them now im quite a shy person when it comes to introducing myself and it took alot of courage to get out and start walking over then what happens they start the car and drive of talk about embarressed and feeling like my confidence had hit rock bottom.
Then to make matters worse i think i will check out the rest of the site only to find they had moved to another level and now feel like a jerk thats hounding them so i park up a way off now wishing the ground would open up and swallow me and after a few minutes make a hasty exit.
I can only assume i broke some doggers code of conduct but the experiance has left me fealing about as low as it gets so for me thats it im calling it a day dont want to feal humillation like that again

I am sorry to hear that, but are you SURE you didn't make a mistake? It could have been an oridinary couple out for a quiet bit of how's your father... they could have simply moved off for a bit of privacy.
In future, try to get a mobile number... if you want confirmation you're dealing with the right car before you step outside, send a txt message...

I can only repeat what Heather has said really, in that are you sure you approached the right couple?
Personally, when I arrange meets I tell people the type of car I will be in, and will give the exact reg number and my mobile number so people can confirm I'm real, if the guy requests them. In future, maybe you could ask for these details before hand?
It is a shame that you had this experience, but we all live and learn. I know a lot of people are shy and it does take guts to actually go over and say hi to complete strangers. Don't let this put you off, there really are some genuine people out there

But the meeting will b just for chatting and putting names and faces to nicknames on here...a badge would help...lol

hiya dont know if this was the case but we have had guys pull up and act like theyre onto a sure thing the minute they saw us ,then when we chatted we found out that someone on net had "arranged"a meet with us purely because they knew we were there regular and had probably drove away from them at some point for being pests,dont lose faith just be genuine is our advise,it shows how genuine you are in the fact you were worried about hounding the cpl,a few more guys should take a lesson from you,we hope youre lucky soon m n k xx

I wouldnt give up however, as when I was successful, it was certainly worth all the wait (They know who they are!!)
