Is it Beginners Luck?

Funny thing is...whenever I'm told of a new place to visit, I always strike lucky. The inevitable first impression is cast, and temptation to revisit cannot be resisted...so I go back once , twice, etc, etc...but it's never as good as the first time.
Has anyone else been "spoilt" by their first visit somewhere and in hindsight viewed subsiquent visits as wastes of time?

When visiting a new place for the first time, your expectations are high, it's exciting and new, you may have adrenalin rush.
Subsequent visits don't have quite the same feeling, so it's your perception of the place, rather than anything else changing.
If we only visited dogging locations on a once only basis, we'd be out of choice after a week and have no where to go :shock:
Try to see each time differently, not as an equal to your first visit and I'm sure you'll soon get the feelings of *rush* back when the fun begins wink

You're lucky Red Hot, it's been crap round here lately... Freekin prudes have cottoned on to all the decent sites and complained to the council, who in turn alerted the scuffers, who in turn started patrolling at prime times.
Only been in on one decent episode in about 6 months, and a couple of accidental discoveries... the big one was brill though I must say that, best for ages, and because it was a rarity it was so much more of a buzz... (3 guys and one girl in a Transit if you're curious, and invites later).
