If you have an innocent explanation for it - and I will accept that maybe these are attacks on your site, then lets hear it - or maybe its you that should be looking to do something else between wanks - like protect your customers.

Guys Ive only just noticed the thread , and am sorry that I didnt get in earlier and chuck my twenty penneth at this sanctimonious lonely man . I think banning is unneccessary as the most logical route here is to take his comments as they were intended and imagine him all dressed in rubber and chains ( slightly under weight , jowly and looking all the world like the Mr Muscle Guy dressed as a Dom) rehearsing his lines to a mirror and being mighty impressed at himself. Lets all appreciate that a man who begins his tirade with a sentence accusing others of closed minds - and then proceeds to tell everyone how they are approaching their own lives incorrectly - cant possibly be open minded enough to make for interesting debate . Hes a wind up artist , a wannabe dom whose only real feeling of domination comes from winding people up on internets sites. Dont let him get to ya , cos if you do it'll give him a hard on .

Hello people,
Have just read through this thread and it reminds me of the various rants that I have to clean up daily on the various websites that I run. Guys like 'lordship' are simply frustrated by the way that no-one has listened to them throughout their life and although they don't realise what they're doing, they have an irrepressible urge to reply to anything that undermines their original posting. This then continues into a 'flaming match' where they cannot actually back off and admit that they were wrong.
Over the many years that I've been working with computers, I've seen this behaviour over and over again and know that if you actually met people like this is real life, they would be somewhat insecure and when questioned verbally will not be able to provide any sort of credible argument for their views. (Before you ask....no, I'm not a policeman in the normal sense of the word, but am a computer security consultant).
The best way of removing these arguments is to simply ignore them after the first 'flame'. Believe me, it works.
And I'd also like to back Mark up with his assurances that SH is not an ad-site that places 'scary things on your PC' that you don't know about! Any sort of monitoring software will be able to tell that. I suggest that 'lordship' had browsed to SH from a site that did attempt to usurp his PC in some way (such as pop-ups) and as such the offending cookie was created during his exit from that site, not the entry to SH. Sorry for the technical answer, but I really don't like people being blamed for things that they aren't responsible for.
God, I'm wittering on like a 'lord' here.
Anyway, I hope my post has helped smile

Surely AUP should encompass and deal with the way the issues I have just seen here were managed? I want to see higher level debates on dogging/voyeurism/exhibitionism as well as invites.
If people wish to have the debates with numpties who soon show their frustration skills then why not have a "FightClub" subindex to the Forum and then those who wish to do it take it there. Those who don't, after it being referred by the moderator, get erased. Or subjected to extraordinary rendering (I wonder who knows what I mean by that?) PM me if you wish to know :shock: ...
Those who come for entertainment know where to avoid (I feel I walked into a firefight I can't leave - this is the last time)

Using the raves as an analogy, (most) of the premises were rented so from the landowners persective there was no problem, and actually I think I'm correct in saying that trespass is not actually an offence in the UK. Ticket holders would buy a ticket without knowing where the rave was, and would have to call a number after a certain time to find directions.
However the financial gains from ticket sales were staggeringly large, and so from a commercial standpoint I think our small minority interest would not be worth the candle. On the other hand, the idea of a meet with locations by text at the last minute seems a very good idea to me, but it would need to be organised by couples otherwise there would be a lot of testosterone floating about looking for a tree to screw. sad

Trespassing is not illegal? :shock: So if I just walked into next door's house and started watching thier TV, I would be committing no crime? Sounds rather strange to me. And signs saying "Trespassers will be Prosecuted" are all bollocks, are they? :shock:

Hmmmm not sure I agree with this one at all .... yes I agree that the spam is out of control ... but people with no character????? sad

I much prefer to use a address than have message delivered to my isp address where my children may access :(

Yes
I'm not sure about entering houses, I expect there's some other law to get you, but certainly walking over a field for example. However if you were run over by the Farmers quad bike or mauled by his prize bull, it might put you in a dodgy spot if you tried to sue since you would have been there without permission.

. When I was younger some dickhead farmer shot at me and my friends cos he said we were trespasisng on his land rolleyes

. We were on his land, but we were walking through the river, which is a public right of way. We told the police and a cop went to see him. As it was our word against his, the cop said it would be pointless us pressing charges. Umph....... and here was I all this time thinking that the farmer was only trying to protect his land..... :x
Maybe it's only illegal to enter a property if you actually break into it? Maybe if the door is open, you are free to walk in and turn on the TV?
