The point being that the players have long-since given up saying they'll be there at ........since the place will be packed to the seams with the above wasters.

Maybe you can try Milton Keynes and join the "driven round all car parks in minutes" group of doggers.

Salcey is (maybe) too far for me...and in any case, I've put my time in at the gum clinic....so I'm w&w only... !

..Milton Keynes is a bear-pit, law driving about all the time now due to the press tossers wanting an easy story for the sofa-jockeys to read :x (I'll probably go there tonight but on the 'bike....and do salcey on the way to the 428 layby then maybe the A43 !...)(the advantage of a 'bike is that I get to park somewhere else, close, and wander in after checking the trees aren't full of idiots and car thieves)
Sorry if I put anybody off.....but this game doesn't have an appointments book handy to "book" a place....you either get lucky, or wait !

went round the car parks and met........................nobody except the usual (drivebys)
Went to Salcey....usual load of aimless car-bound wanderers...and one extremly pleasant couple in a van.....nice to have a brief chat with someone instead of the "ain't they showin' yet...I've been ere for 10 minutes now"............
Dropped into the 428 layby...not even any gays, which must be some sort of record....still, too cold for stockings and sussies now...so that's the gays out !!!!!!!!
Did the anti-social thing and drove back through the villages with hip-hop at 100 watts....now I'm half deaf..

For one thing, I never use highbeam.
For another, I often park-up away from the site and walk in.
Even when I drive in, I see other cars before I get there and park up and have a wander.
I NEVER drive in, then out, visit another 2/3/4 car parks and then start the routine over.
Visited the A43 tonight...a very nice, pleasant and warm young lady was there (well, two actually...but one was a bit intoxicated (nice lookers both tho'))
The pics will be in my group...(as soon as the yl featured says ok)
If you want to know about true drivebys, visit the A43 on a fri/sat/sun night/s.....take your sunshades

:wink: :wink: Well, I did a walk-by last night...while all the others were clustered about one car, there was a nice lady alone in her car about 50 metres down the layby....driving around all the time frequently gets everyone peed off....and I've lost count of the amount of time that I've entered a place to find half-a-dozen cars parked up, all with single males..looking intently at a car with a couple in...who are looking back at the guys...who look back at them...and do f*ck all...what have you got to lose by walking over ?

There ain't no clock cards in laybys.....there ain't no appointments system to get ahead of the others.....
It ain't no wonder there aren't too many cpls anymore...everyone hides behing their motor when they drive in....flashing brake lights, flashing headlights...interior lights flickering...and STILL nobody does anything....the classic is when the law drive in, all the newbys drive out...which gets them pulled....
Anyway, I got some good photos last night....well-worth-it.

LOL, just asking! I know what you mean about the stale-mates, when there are a few people there and no-one does anything - very frustrating! There was a guy asking for advice on this subject on another thread and I said that some people consider those that walk over to cars to be pests, and indeed there is a very fine line, but sometimes you just have to play it by ear and I guess if one person goes over to a car and breaks the stale mate no-one is going to complain .

BTW, Jomu, did the person/people you took pics of know that you had taken them? I have a digi cam that works very well in the dark, but I've never taken pics of anyone who didn't know they were the subject (honestly!), but I think the flash does put others off :shock:
I asked her first....no facial allowed....no problem.
I knew the guy in the pics and he didn't smash my head in, so I took it as a "couldn't give a f**k"
As soon as she clears the pics, I'll post them in a group....if she says no, then shit 'appens !
