I was out in the peterborough area and pulled into one site. To my shock and dismay I'd driven right into a Police infested car park.
Well not quite infested, there were two cars and a mobile Police station. One of our trusted boys in blue was wandering around the site with a video camera, so I adopted the stance of a tired commuter and grabbed the paper. As he walked near to my car I asked what was occurring.
It turns out the police aren't all bad after all, he was videoing the litter, tissues, and condoms left by some off the bigger vehicals that use the site and he actually stated that they knew what went on there after dark and weren't too bothered as long as it happened after the dog walkers and kids had finished for the day. He was concerned about the litter but most of us would use a bin if they were provided anyway.
He went on to say that the council were thinking about reducing the entrance width so the larger vehicals couldn't enter, and making the site more car friendly with more bins, better picknick tables, tree and shrub planting and parking alcoves instead of open plan parking. In effect the whole place is going to get a makeover!
I don't know about you lot but I think it would be brilliant if all this happened.
The only down side I expect is the council will start charging us for our fun with an entrance fee!
What do you think? let me know...
Harry
They done the same at one of our local "parks"
They then put retractable posts on the entrance and charged to get in!! mad
That in its self wasn't too bad but when they locked the posts at to stop you entering the car park!!!! :x :x
So if it all goes ahead, you had better start looking for another site confused

Then the rubbish will continue and the cctv will appear. In any case, there was never an improvement by a council that meant it's use for sex continued.
