NEW TO SOUTHAMPTON ANY DOGGERS HERE IF SO I AM INTERESTED IN WATCHING
What is "pigged".... If it means what I think it means, can you refer to the law in the proper manner please.
This has also been happening in the Bournemouth area parks on occassions.
However, I am loathe to use the expression 'pigged' in this context. After all, violent crime is on the increase and these guys are only doing their jobs.
There is an increased police presence locally because they are receiving pressure from the local councils to act, and try to put a stop to "lewd practices" happening in their areas. It happens from time to time and we just have to learn to accept it, and wait until the interest dies down. It doesn't usually take more than a week or two wink

Thats exactly the point..................the police are acting not in response to increasing levels of crimes involving violence in the county, but to pander to the wants of members of local government, who are hot under the collar about various silly stories in the local press!
At a time when police resources are supposedly stretched to breaking point, is trying to stop what goes on in car parks late at night between consenting adults, a matter of urgent priority...................personally I rather think not!
Chris

That's as maybe Chris, but other people also have their ideas on what is a priority and it just so happens that their ideas differ from yours and mine.
Tha fact is that the dogging community is in a minority compared to the number of citizens who would be outraged at what we get up to in car parks at night.
Therefore, the majority have a louder voice and so the powers that be must be seen to act accordingly. After all, these people who are so shocked also pay their taxes and often wish to see something being done with their money.
It's a sad fact of life as a dogger/voyeur and we just have to accept it. I for one, won't be writing to the Chief Constable asking him to sort out the prorities for the police force and leave us doggers/voyeurs alone - will you? dunno rolleyes
Chill mate - it'll pass soon enough smile

I think we can now conclude in reply to the original post in this thread, that there are no doggers in Southampton!
Sorry!
There are however, some in Bournemouth, just waiting until the frenzy of the local press dies down wink

There are plenty of doggers in Southampton actually....................but few decent locations that are good for dogging!
Chris

I know! Until around a month ago before the recent police and press activity, we regularly used to get guys from Southampton travelling to Bournemouth to dog with us

hi guys
sorry if ive had my head in a cloud but what press???
ta mike
There have been several articles in the Bournemouth Echo regarding certain spots throughout Dorset, used "by swingers for sordid sex gatherings" rolleyes
It was even the main headlines on the front page just over a week ago! It listed several well known and used sites in Dorset, and consequently, it has chased not only us couples away for a while, but also the doggers confused
It's not the first time it's happened, so I'm sure it will all blow over. In the meantime, we just have to wait - or make other arrangements wink

Why not start 2 arrange meets in the New Forest? Plenty of quiet locations well away from the attentions of the police and quite unknown to kevin and his idiot followers!
Chris

Well we do arrange meets, but not tellin' where
