Hi, anyone know what the dogging scene in the Southport area is like?

Apparently very busy in summer but cold in winter - that's only what I've heard, regulars might say different - but at least there IS a dogging scene in Southport wink

We are a newbie couple at this, We would be very interested is finding places in the Southport/Preston area

You could try Ainsdale beach at night - not sure how busy it gets in winter though. The sand hills see a lot of action in summer too. Not that much round the Preston area that I know of - certainly don't try any of the parks in Preston (too many dickheads willing to mug you). There are a couple of sites round the Wigan/Chorley area that you could try (Red Rock car park, Standish is used, but very hit and miss, as well as Birkacre in Chorley). Erm....running out of ideas now! Oh yeah, if you want to venture to Bolton, there's Entwistle - I've never been there, but apparently it does get busy at times, though the police like it too. How's that for starters?
