from my personal experiences hv been aproached by police on a number of occasions when at dogging location's but all thy hv been concerned about is my welfare and just checking that i am ok and most of the time they just come in the parks drive round and go streight back out again so get's me thinking weather police are just being given hard time when actualy thy don't do anything????
and also he just comenting on police force as he see's it and from his own experiences but let's not forget the police force is a massive huge organisation.
but have also read other post's which also get's ya thinking, can johno/police officer coment on them??

Heard on a welsh radio station last evening a couple were robbed when a gang of teenagers pull up behind them , smashed all the car windows and took their money , phones and valueables at quote " a well known site for courting couples " so please all take care , I ve not seen or heard of it in the local press , if any of you know more please post the details for others

I do believe the site in question is Not be Posted On the Open Forum, as we have had a couple of reports of the gates being locked stopping entry to the site.

was in towers when advised to move on by police at the residents are the ones kicking off. they had a meeting with police at the pub on thursday nite
Was at carpark at 11pm on Fri 25th, Police turned up twice, second time threatened dispersal notice and fixed fines of 500 quid. Everyone left

wouldn't you think this day'n'age there wasn't some arangement that doggers,resident's&police couldn't come to so every body is happy and we can all live in harmony just as an example..can't drive through the village's after a certain time & hv to stick to useing the main road's..... it's the year 2008 for god sake!!!!

lots of police about last night in the 2 laybys here, saw them stop one guy cruising about, i didn't stay any longer to find out any more.

Full newspaper article in the local paper about people going there for sexual encounters police having a massive crack down due to local residents complaining be warned its going to be very risky just visiting that site the site is just off the rainford bypass merseyside near st helens

It was only a matter off time that it would make front news headlines , Boyracers and single men spoilt that yet again for cpls . They are killing Dogging
its not just lately they have been having a crack down there its been going on for about the last two years or so. first the top car park got closed off because of complaints from occupants of the house thats up there then the hedges trimmed as low as possible in the first car park so it wasnt secluded anymore and all the various signs about police cctv etc. so everyone contributed to its demise not just gays and boy racers and single men but couples aswell.

Just thought id offer a warning to doggers in the walsall area. we went last night just getting down to some action when i saw 2 peolple walking through the bushes looked odd so we stopped and the males walked away.
they were police officers saying they had complaints from dog walkers at on a night.
they chatted with us ok but did take other peolples number plates they then left and we carried on lol.
thats the 1st time weve spokern to police is this regular ?? and what could happen if you get caught??#

Exeter areas are not safe from Police! There was a raid last night with at least two cars, four men and a police dog handler. These guys are not here to protect doggers from crime etc they are busting doggers!!! total waste of tax payers money but hey-ho at least they made witty comments among themselves as they left the scene, obviously taking the matter so seriously........
They made it clear the internet should be used to warn peolpe off these exeter areas!!!!

exeter sites are the latest target for coodinated police raids. We got nicked last night up the top site from the racecourse. Two police cars, 4-5 blokes and a police dog!! Crept up on us and we had nowhere to go. They made it clear that they will prosecute anyone found in the area at night in future and will patroll every weekend. Best to quickly meet up and move to safer ground. Post a lookout would be good advice too

That's ok then, gotta look after the doggers...sorry, dog-walkers. They probably were not law anyway, loads of idiots pretend they are law to get others to move away...hopefully, they'll try it on with some real law....that'll be a big goodbye.

The worse you can expect, if caught "in flagrante delicto", is that you get arrested for exposure, or behaviour likely to lead to a breach of the peace. In the real world, they'll just warn you and tell you to bugger-off. They may want to join-in though, in which case things get really sticky !

four of us actually got caught, the rest had wandered off and no-one warned us!!!
Police have taken registrations, names, addresses and seen id at the scene.
If we are seen in the area again we will get "arrested" plain enough message for you???

having read all the horror stories I can safely say I would be quite worried about taking her (or her car!) unless the place was exceptionaly busy. HOWEVER the only thing that does give me a little confidence is all the Police raids - at least all the time that is happening those thinking about causing trouble or harm always have something to worry about and I dare say it must put many of them off somewhat. I know I would rather have a fine every now and again than some of the alternatives...? (anyone known of a case of the Police catching someone for criminal damage / threatening behavoir etc under these circumstances?)

Please be careful going a well known dogging site off the East Lancs. The Police have been on and gettng quite heavy with the doggers; including getting them out of the cars and calling them Perverts. PM us and we will tell you which one if you dont all ready realise. They are in plain cars.

Have to say this, if police officers are verbaly abusing members of the public in any scenario whatsoever then they are subject to the same laws that goven us all.
Won't go into details here and now about what is and is not law breaking because it has all been said before. Oh i will say though, if i were ever spoken to like that by an officer of the law i would be very happy to go to court to get some of our human rights back.

Just being new to dogging and considering exploring it on my own I thought I better consider safety and the warnings. Hence reading your posts.
Initially I went into complete panic...my god... I thought... my life and limb will be threatned by criminals, thugs, youths, police, the good civilised 'normal'public,(and to the people who have mailed me with kind advice!) the doggers who ignore the rules!!!
However, scrolling through I realised the majority of the warnings are eons old...2004 etc. This put things a little more in perspective.
Therefore can i take the opportunity to thank the guys at the sit close to me recently who treated me very weell...thanked me...and even walked me to the car. lol

Sparky, Im sorry to say but you very, very wrong. The police are very willing to help if you are being attacked by anyone, whether you are in a car park or not. We have recently had a single guy threatening us and when I spoke to the police about his messages, they were more than willing to listen and if I had not decided to drop it, they were very willing to take matters further.
As the previous poster said, the only way to stop this is to report it to the police.
