Reading through the messages here and with the absence of locations being mentioned ... I have to ask, how do newbies actually get to know what the good sights are and avoid the dodgey/dangerous ones?
The dogging locations info seems to be very out of date so doesn't look like the info is showing up there either.
confused:
The newbies will find the dogging sites the same way they did before the internet, by getting 'out' and finding them. The majority of good dogging sites are not advertised on any internet site and that is why they are the good ones as they are not ruined by non-doggers going along to find out what goes on, and by the boy racers who often only go to see if they can cause a bit of trouble.
We 'descovered' dogging accidently and didnt even know it existed, or we could find details of site on the internet. Just go for a drive round your local area, think of the places where you would go if you wanted to have a bit of naughty fun, somewhere quiet, somewhere not too close to houses etc, and if there is a car park there, then no doubt at some point or other, dogging will take place! wink
Thanks for the useful tips ... new to my area having recently moved here but an excuse to get out and explore I guess ... one other thing, is there such a thing as 'best times'? Just seems to me that after dark ... you wouldn't actually see anything?

Check the places out during the day, so you know the area, know where the big pot holes are (there are always pot holes) and you know the easiest way to leave the place if it gets a bit hairy. But as you said, most of the fun does take place at night.
Some people do dogging in the daytime, but his week is probably out, with all the kids being off school, and with it becoming summer, a lot of doggin sites still seem to be full of kids whent he holidays have finished.
This post of Mal will give you some really good tips about what will happen when you get there but all I can say is give it a go. If you are in a car park and for any reason it doesnt feel right, go home, you can always go back again (and take some good music with you, you could be waiting a while)

Good luck wink
Thanks again ... the safety aspect especially.

I enjoy reading the posts - some of which are extremely useful. This is my first post on SH ( or anywhere else for that matter).
North west wigan cple, you seem to be like a mother figure so its also good to know that peeps like you offer advice to the less experienced couples. Your piccys are rather nice too!!!!!!

Dunmore wink
I also discovered dogging sites accidently... although nowadays I thought that the Tourist Board posted those brown signs to picnic sites especially for doggers wink
