Younger & Younger
I can't help wondering if that generation feels like they are expected to at least try being bi in order to prove to their friends that they don't have hang ups. When I was that age (only 12 years ago or so) being bi or bi-curious was still something that you kept to yourself - not necessarily a good thing - but when you look at most pop music videos these days bi for girls is almost de rigeur and you see that emulated by young girls in bars and clubs, often just to get the attention of guys......although I don't know where this is coming from for the boys so I'm not really answering your question! 
Don't get me wrong, being bi or bi-curious is great, but not if it's only being explored as a result of peer pressure or media messages.
