A sh!t day at the seaside.

Yuck. But it looks like it was a temporary situation. Mind you, anyone on any UK beach this week is barking mad.
It is never a good thing to have to pump raw sewage into 'public' water. I used to go to Scarborough regularly as a child. I reckon I'm immune to everything from stomach bugs to dyptheria now.

Rather than properly managing the situation they've chosen to pump raw sewage into the sea affecting Torquay, Shoalstone, Broadsands, Goodrington, Paignton Sands, Preston Sands, Meadfoot, Anstey's, Babbacombe, Oddicombe, Watcombe and Maidencombe.
Granted probably cheaper than any fines they'll get.

What with the weather and another week of raw sewage being discharged to sea it's going to be a bad time for the tourism industry in the area sad
