Why have the numpties always got clipboards??
They all fall under the same umbrella............the complete load of bollox schooling.
Plus funny how the local councils are always involved somewhere down the line.
Oh dear...........
Lunacy being the right word here.
" A spokesman for the hospital said: 'We had an incident in September last year when someone slipped on an acorn ".
FFS............maybe they should have watched what they were treading on.
Last year in Greece on holiday there were large holes in one of the roads, I asked one of the shopkeepers what would happen in the UK, if there were holes that big left unattended.
He stated that in Greece there is not this mad compensation culture, and in Greece IF anybody was to fall into a big hole, or injured themselves, the authorities would just say you should have been looking where you was walking....sounded like common sense to me.
Oh dear. Another story of somone who got it wrong and you believe it is the law. Reading these posts makes me wonder who is the lunatic. Them for being daft or you for believing it.

I am sorry that you can not see the difference between law and rambling. You'll just have to live with your mistakes and keep posting up stories that have nothing to do with the law.
Risk assessment and the requirement to undertake one is when a significant risk has been identified by the employer. Significant, is what you, the papers and those that blame the law can't get your heads around. I am sorry that you cannot comprehend this.....but I can clearly see your mistakes in this.
Just keep posting the links as it does make me giggle

This is something I am sure you are more than familiar with Davey...
The front page made me laugh...
Working at height - basic...........
Working at height – advanced.........
Priceless. I would like to know what is so different....the price for the course I bet as two is always better than one where costs are concerned.
Also I am sure some people might like to have a chuckle themselves at some of the bollox on here.
In it it states...
" Employers must assess the risks associated with slips, trips and falls and take measures that will ensure people can move about the workplace safely ".
People here should really read this nonsense as nutty nanny state UK is here to get you...
Priceless rubbish and to think they pay these people huge amounts of money too.
I am sure most people know most of this rubbish already....assess the risk so people can walk about safely ffs?
I will let others look at this site and some of the made assessments they want idiots to carry out.
I really do not know how we ever did without these people....how did anyone ever survive in the workplace? Amazingly people did.
" No manual handling activity is completely safe but using the HSE manual handling assessment charts (see below) as part of a well thought out risk assessment, will reduce the risks from manual handling activities ".
WTF ???? I bet that is a right bundle of laughs to read that one.
Absolute and utter nonsense.
All those Quango's being chopped....
Lovely
Problem is, as Mr Pickles starts to get rid of the council staff wastage, they'll all end up on index linked final salary pensions so the tax payer will be funding it for years to come...
Your a trier Davey..............your certainly trying all right.
I think our conversations warrant that you do a risk assessment on them....well cannot be too cautious now can you???
Further correspondence will cease until such a assessment has been obtained, and all relevant risks removed.
Then a policy template will have to be made, to write down the risk assessment of our conversations.
Then a person will have to be elected to be the chairman of the said risk assessment, and then another who will oversea the policy template.
Then when all that has been put into place, we can then without any risks involved, continue our conversation.
Unless there are other risks lurking around the corner, that we are as yet unaware of.
Oh and btw.....watch the acorns eh matey?
Er no Davey.
I am right as always and unfortunately try as you might, you are wrong.
Do not be disheartened though eh?
Cos your not clever enough Davey........
you done that risk assessment yet?
