no, it's not a serious thread about the level to which we as citizens may be observed, manipulated or restricted.
But rather a thread about the tv 'reality' show.
a new trial/series starts today, so it seems.
within the run of the series, there are bound to be whole plethera of contentious issues.
you know the deal: folk selected on a list of criteria that is bound to cause friction within the house.
and raise tempers amongst the viewers.
I'm sure there will be plenty to mention.
the idea here was to have a place to put them all...
ok?

oh really?
go on... this can be a 'comment' thread within Current Affairs... there's absolutely no need to know anything about anything... thats the law.

I reckon the most unusual victim usually wins so if somebody tells me who that is I will put a fiver on.
I can never understand how 16 people can quit their lives for a reality show.
I do not know of many employers that would allow one of their staff to go awol for that long. ( that is if they work to start with )
Also one of the " contestants " has a seven month old child. It could be possible she could be in there until the end.....which is how many weeks? To leave your child for a reality show?
But it does show societies strange ones.
BB is fun but think it has become stale, and thrives on contencious issues. It thrives on bad publicity but hey....it is still good fun.
Plus that blonde bird, Sophie I think she is....has my vote already. wink
well...seems a little bit of everything for everyone this year:
Kris...eye candy for ladies
Sophie and Karly and narine...eye candy for the fellas
Charlie and Rodrigo ..for the bi and gay fellas
Lisa...for the gay ladies
Marcus...the wolverine lookalike if you like a bit of rough
Freddie...if you like a bit of posh
Sofia....for loves of bubblly and fun
siavash/Angel/Sree/Cairon/Benazir..just wierd
I think last three wil be
Marcus
Rodrigo
Sofia
can you tell....i'm an addict already.

But have they become housemates yet?
Big Brother like many tired formats would be greatly improved by the addition of snipers or venomous snakes to the mix
TBH I can't be arsed.... and haven't been for a couple of years now. Does anyone here still watch it?

Delighted!
:giggle:
Much better... blimey, people even use the format to attempt to break into the LTC... are there no limits to the depths people might sink to?
Stagger... I;m rather liking the sniper option.
Maybe previous evictees could be given a rifle and one shot from the top of the ramparts. The rifle having similar accuracy to fairground variety rifles. they may end up popping a cap in the ass of the wrong person completely. All good fun.
