On the issue of shares in the bank etc, I have to agree with GnV. If I want to buy shares I will make my own mind up and not have some Government official do it for me.

The point of it being that you have to 'hold' these imposed shares for 2 years in banks which aren't worth a bent drachma in any event.
And if Cyprus get away with it (its imposed by the ECB) it could happen in the UK. Only 2 days to budget day...

Well it now seems that the British Government will not FULLY protect British troops from the raids on their bank accounts. They will only be compensated for " reasonable losses ". That money is a drop in the ocean compared to the losses they will sustain.

I think the comment about his half dozen supporters is a clear sign that UKIP is getting under your skin. Well I really do not know why you're so bothered by it all, I mean nothing that happens in the UK affects you anymore as you do not even live here.........so where is your problem?
