Do people still play pub games?

In a little thread, in the "lets meet up" forum, we've bantered about dominoes and cribbage boards....I know, just a typical swinging night out lol but what the heck.
I was chatting with another mate of mine the other day and he was asking if I knew of any pubs which had a dart board or a pool table. Now I know I've seen a dart board fairly recently, but I couldn't think quite where, and as for pool tables, well I know there are still some about, but what about the dominoes and cribbage and other traditional pub games. My local has a stock of some games, but nobody ever plays them. I wondered if it's just to do with my locality; are pub games and dominoe leagues still thriving in other parts of the country?
Skinny
Ignoring the usual chrome and glitz places most of the pubs around here have a very active Pool and Darts league team, if not more than one team.
Also local dominoes and cribbage league, plus some snooker and billiards
I suppose they do in pubs but I haven't been to a pub since the smoking ban came into force, instead I have put a cinema and games room in at home
There's a few pubs near me with pool tables and on the rare occasions that I go out, I like to play pool.

There are still, cribbage, shove ha penny, darts and pool league in our area
Shove is still really popular around here, and one pub has recently had a Bar Billiard table put back in and it is often used by "young" patrons. unless it is just the novelty factor!
Good Game!
We had a good round of pub golf last weekend lol
there used 2 b a pub we went 2... just 2 play shove hapeny 1/2 p...
I've recently started taking my Backgammon set down to a pub in the next village with a musician friend of mine. Great fun!
The only game I play now if I escape to the pub is propping up the bar for an hour.
My local used to have bar billiards that was always a good laugh and played in a pool league for 10 years. Then became a boring old bastard and started staying at home with my pipe and slippers.
Played a few other games in the local pub after hours but not the conventional ones innocent
The traditional local bar game "Speakin Welsh if an englishman comes in" is alive and well.

I Played shove ha penny for many years to a very high standard, qualified for the word championships many times. Best I achieved was the quarter finals though.
now when ever some one wants to meet, we find a pub with a pool table so i can tease,,,,
that way they go home happy even if we don t do nothing else.
lucky the pubs we pick r not busy,,,
