Probably yes, which begs the question, if states / countries are monitoring everything why do the Bristish Government need the proposed Communications Regs to make it legal.
Suspect that there is a lot more to come out of this. The US defend their position asking how else they are supposed to catch the terrorists with the US people backing them, and to be honest I don't have a problem with this sort of security intervention. But everytime I've heard the reports on the radio, there's something in the corner of my mind asking "if they can look for terrorist chatter, why can't they look for commercial chatter as well" . . . and low and behold, the next leak to the media is how the US are involved in industrial espionage against their supposed allies. Now I'de like to see how congress defends that to the american people.
Just need the next slip on how the NSA are paid for and directed by big US corporate businesses and have also been spying on their own people for commercial gain.
And all this cements in my mind that no government can be trusted.
