There are some in London who are asking for independance from the rest of the UK, I for one would welcome that, so much money from the whole of the UK tax revenue is channeled into the capital I think we would be better off if they took independance and lets see how they do forming thier own armed forces, industry, agricultural capabilities and all the rest that the remainder of the UK supply to them, of course we could sell them what they need and make lots of money out of them but would we want to trade with the non european Country of London ?

Why ??
got Parish or Town Concils, Borough Council, then a County/Metropolitan level of local government, and then Westminster already. Why would any one in their right mind want yet another level of paid for elected people living off the public purse/our taxes, along with all the trappings of buildings, support staff, etc.
