I am sure there are many people here, who because of financial reasons will not be having a holiday this year.
If you ever wondered how to get a free holiday out of your local council, then be a useless parent and bring up two kids that have no decent place in society.
I will wait for the bleating about it is only the " scum " who reports this kind of thing, but it is always nice to know you can get rewarded for your crimes, and paid for out of hard earned local taxpayers money.
Still no doubt there is a local post office nearby for her to go to every Monday morning....happy holidays people.

I'm speechless. I've never had a proper holiday for about 5 years, just a cpl of weekends away this yr to Scotland and Blackpool. I'd love a holiday abroad, but can't afford it right now. I cannot believe that we are helping pay for this??????!!!!!!

I have a solution to resolve this burgeoning underclass.
I think we should establish ghettos in city centres with sub standard housing and shit schools and health care for these scum. There they can drink their special brew, play their on-line bingo, send thir texts to apply to Jeremy Kyle and raise ther filthy children.

In extremis, we could always take the idea the Japanese film "Battle Royale" has - take a group of convicted people (in the film it was a random school class....) by force, stick them on an island with no chance of escape. Fit them with explosive harnesses and tell them this: The only way to escape alive.....is to get rid of everyone else....

Luckily lost some of these children are saved from the cutches of mindless parents, some are placed into loving and caring foster homes and grow from being out of control to understand some people do care about them. It is hard work but can also be very rewarding.

We have often considered being foster parents,we have a disabled child and kev works with homeless teenagers, we could give so much unfortonatly we know our lifestle choices would disqualify us,better the kids remain with abusive neglectful parents than 2 decent people who are considered model parents by their friends who just happen to swing
Yes it is madness. If you smoke or are fat, in many cases that will not let you adopt.
I think the figures are kids in care tonight, yet councils disqualify people because as you say " their lifestyle choices ".
It is so difficult now to adopt as you have to meet certain criterias. SOME councils put gay couples above hetrosexual couples. I would have thought they would have put the child with the best suited people possibly, and not to be politically correct by putting minorities above the needs of the child.
It should always be the child first and forget all this minority and lifestyle crap. As I said some think that they would rather leave kids in care, rather than to place them with loving people, who would give them a much better life than they are currently getting.
