We all know the channel 4 programme made for them by Studio Lambert of London.
Wouldn't it be fun to see a swingers hotel on the programme
Would four in a bed take on a new TV meaning
Would you like to see such a programme ?
How do you think the swinging scene would come accross, in it's true form of like minded adults doing what they want with their partners consent or as some sleazy pastime for perverts ?
Putting yourself forward for the series Jed?
Actually no, but I have been invited to by the makers of the programme

Hello, I have just been looking at your site and think your place sounds brilliant. We’re casting for a new series of Channel 4’s popular ‘Four in a Bed’, celebrating the great Bed and Breakfasts and small hotels around the UK. Whether it be their five glowing stars or the quirky and unusual approach that the owners deem their unique selling point, the programme will look at the huge variety of accommodation providers around the country. We are looking for enthusiastic and proud owners who feel that their business stands out from the competition and has something special to offer for the price that visitors are charged. This series will now not only feature a wide range of B&Bs but also small hotels. They’ll all be run by owners who are deeply committed to their business and can explain in a lively and engaging way why their place, and the area in which it’s located, is so good to visit. Each week, four places will compete against one another to be crowned that week’s best B&B or small hotel… and the judges of the competition will be the owners themselves – as they will each visit one another’s properties. This is a potentially brilliant opportunity for owners to showcase their business on national television and highlight why customers should flock to visit them. We hope the programme will continue to encourage viewers to choose independently run places to stay in, rather than the larger chain operations. Please do get in touch if this is of interest to you as we would love to hear from you. Best Wishes, The Four in a Bed team

I would not consider doing the programme but do enjoy watching it and have picked up a lot of "what not to do" and "that's a good idea" over the years.
The trouble is, the media wants to make you watch, I believe the other contestants would be chosen for the views on swingers not just their own premises, I believe the comments by the programme would be centred more on the sensationalist than the true roots of swinging (like minded adults having fun with their partners consent)
Our guest house is discreet, we value discretion for ourselves and our visitors, it would not be in keeping with that policy to put it on National TV.
But I cannot help thinking what the programme would be like, that or "Come Dine with Me" selected for a group of swingers, the food chosen, the after dinner party games lol 69position blast whip
I do wonder though if it could be done properly, unbiasedly, and if one of the Blackpool hotels/guest houses will take up the offer as I have no doubt they too have been approached.
Do I think I could win - absolutely, when it comes to a guest house for swingers, I honestly don't think I can be beaten, against general hotels and Guest Houses, well that's different, we cater for a special group of people and our facilities and policies work for them where they would be of no interest to others, like any business you cannot please everyone but we come close for our guests.
For what it's worth I think you are doing the right thing by not appearing on the show. As you said the programme makers would pick people with opposing views just to stir things up a bit. One couple that springs to mind are the one's that refused a gay couple to use their facility and were successfully sued recently.
I think that if you appeared on the show it might be a bit of a laugh and some short term publicity, but not all publicity is good. Your assurances of discretion would mean nothing once you had been on national TV, not to mention how it might affect your standing in the local community.
