Groups a waste of time ?

Has anyone joined a group recently that is actually active ? We have joined quite a few in the last year but they all seem very stale with very few of them showing any activity at all. These should be a popular resource and we should use them.

our view is the groups appear to be an extension of the forums, to get the most out of them you would need to post in the groups forum . . . . and the problem, with all the members logging in to SH, the vast majority appear to bypass the all the forums and head for the chat rooms.
Would encourage everyone to to join in on the forums, needs lots of fresh blood and new/different opinions to make it fun, plus you get to know others and they get to know you before you then go off into the chat rooms.

any one can create a group then make it exactly what they want it to be wink
