You will of course also have noted that Walmart is the U.S. arm of the cororation where the employment laws are somewhat different...obviously you read of the disproportionate number of lawsuits brought against them for breaking those laws , you also I'm sure read of their breeches of the U.S. child labour laws , and their use of third world sweat shops as suppliers
Walmart are to many the unacceptable face of capitalism ,that they are entering U.K. markets should ring alarm bells in all our heads

I thought Walmart already had a presence in the UK dunno
They bought ASDA in 1999 AFAIK.
The unacceptable face of capitalism maybe Staggers, but lots of people shop with them worldwide (and in the UK) so they must be doing something right.

I should perhaps have said 'expanding their presence' .... The 'a Walmart company'* on Asda signs is a new development however ... perhaps they think they can apply the U.S companys' policies over here now

Staggerlee has already mentioned that ....try reading the words on the page and then you`d be able to keep up.
You really are trying very hard flower. Actually, you're (note the use of the correct apostrophe symbol) really only very trying.... It must be very difficult for you now that your sidekick has flounced and you have no-one to prompt you as to what to say.
Any thoughts about another flounce by you yet?
You will be sadly missed, of course.
