It's nearly here! You can't beat the six nations.

I don't know what it is about the six nations but it has to be my favourite sporting event. Yes I love the Ashes and the Olympics but when the finest muscle and brawn the rugby playing northern hemisphere has to offer put there shirts on and kick ten bells out of each other you can't get me away from the telly.
So with a sporting good luck said to the other 5 nations I will be routing for the boys in white.
Comme d'habitude - allez les blues!!
Good win France
Yes it was! Thought England had it won but think the England players thought the same.
never underestimate the French capacity to keep it up :lol2:
Just my luck! Probably the best round of matches this weekend and I am working sad
I think Wales will beat France, England will beat Ireland And Italy beat Scotland but the thing about this weekends matches is, I don't really know! all 3 could go the other way.
Anybody want to do my weekend shift? Minimum wage less agents fee?
G,
Évidemment, les Blues n'aiment pas jouer le soir, ou même un vendredi. Eh bien au moins pas de Grand Chelem pour eux cette année encore.
wink
Obviously the Blues don't like playing on an evening, or even a Friday. Oh well at least no Grand Slam for them again this year
Certainement H
A dreadful game.
who to boo for the loudest? France or Scotland? think it has to be France lol
So the last day
still in the running being England, France & Ireland
12:30 = Italy v England
14:45 = Wales v Scotland
17:00 = France v Ireland
So come on England, as your result will be known and add extra pressure on France and Ireland.
Congratulations Ireland, worthy winner's and thank you BOD for some outstanding rugby. Good luck for the future.
Must be my Bretagne roots making me cheer for France...and pure bad luck on the forward pass, for what would have been a mighty try!

I'm sure the SA ref was biased. He did exactly the same to France the last time he officiated when France were playing...

Steve Walsh, the referee is from New Zealand, but registered as an Australian referee

Thanks Mal.
Knew he spoke with a funny accent...
You can't really blame a referee, I wanted England to win but they blew it in the first 20 and last 5 minutes against France, France blew it against Wales so although I think England are the best team, Ireland had the best tournament and deserve to win the 6 Nations!
Cracking afternoon of rugby although the Wales Scotland match was a bit of disappointment, perhaps because neither team had anything to play for . . . and the sending off was probably correct, you can't really fly at someone shoulder first and expect to get away with it, but Dan Biggar did milk it, probably been watching too much premiership football.
Unusually the whole pub was cheering for France, must be a first, huge cheer when they scored at the end, long queue at the bar a few minutes later ! Roll on next year.
I think France played better without Dusantoir as captain, to be honest.
Perhaps his untimely injury just before the tournament playing for Toulouse was a mixed blessing....
