From todays news ...... I love this one
Baby born at 1000 feet
A pregnant mother (obviously) gave birth to a healthy baby after being picked up by one of HM Coastguard helicopters at 6:30am from the Orkney Islands in Scotland.
The helicopter crew travelling at 150mph and just 1000ft above see level carrying a paramedic did a great job as always.
What a story the baby has to tell in future years, "where were you born" "errr on a helicopter somewhere over the North Sea in Scotland" lol
congratulations and best wishes to the family and to the crew.
You'd be suprised how often that sort of thing happens, probably about 10 times a year in the north I reckon from personal experience.
Great let's have some more happy stories from everyone.
My own happy birth story started in Northern Ireland with the birth of my first daughter, I bought my wife the traditional bouquet and card, nothing special and that was that until 2 years later when my second daughter was born in Germany, again the bouquet and card.
It was not until some years later going through a box of Birthday cards, Christmas cards and the Congratulations cards that we realised that I had bought an identical card for each birth, unintentionally and 2 years apart in 2 different countries ?
Perhaps there is such a thing as fate
lol
I'm sorry, but I just don't have those stories to tell.
My daughter was born with the cord around her neck and was lucky to breathe.
My son was an emergency C section.
At the time I would have happily traded the life of our imminently born children for that of my wife.
Today is another matter, the kids are alive and well and maybe I would make the opposite choice rotflmao:rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao:

Fate, nope.
Limited NAAFI stock, probably.
