loads but top ones would be Jean de Florette and Manon des Sources, if you can handle subtitles (or understand French -we don't !), great story, great music, filmed in a beautiful part of rural France, just overall brilliant films.

Same here! Gerard Depardieu is amazing in it and the younger male actor Beart is breathtakingly beautiful.I first saw it in the cinema thanks to a good review in Time Out that called it a classic good storytelling movie and they weren't wrong for all the reasons you say.

Casablanca - so many times I must know most of the dialogue and  a huge Bogart fan

It's a Wonderful Life  - Jimmy Stewart at his best

L.A. Confidential - so many wonderful actors, greay storyline and Kim Basinger to drool over.

Die Hard- gotta love Bruce Willis surviving in bare feet, a vest and his trousers picking off evil terrorists one by one   lol

The Fabulous Baker Boys - brotherly love and conflict with a side order of Michelle Pfeiffer at her most seductive.

Showing my age in my choices !

Probably the Blues Brothers too but can't remember how many times.

Pretty Woman

Notting Hill

Anything with Julia Roberts, preferably with as few clothes as possible!!!!

The Matrix

Casablanca

Blue Velvet

Showgirls (it's a feminist movie, honest!)

Blood and Bone

Too many to count, but I have a rule for a good film:

If you're browsing through the channels and come across a film you like and no matter where you are in the film you stop and watch it to the end; that's a favourite. To which end:

Grosse Pointe Blank

does band of brothers count..not a movie but seen it 10 times

Shawshank Redemption

Bad Day at Blackrock

The Magnificent Seven

and about 20 others

Coyote Ugly

Pete's Dragon (both versions)

Dirty Dancing

Skyfall

Spectre

Casino Royale

Bridget Jones Diary

Notting Hill

Love Actually

1 😍

All the bond films and think I could take part in Skyfall if they ever remade it

guns of navarone, , Gold finger, Italian Job (original)
