I was just wondering if people actually bother making new year's resolutions? I personally don't bother and haven't for years! I have usually ended up breaking them anyway ;)
Why wait until a new year to start doing stuff? Doesn't make any sense to me at all!
Hell No!!!!!!!!!!! I just take on new challenges as and when I feel like it, if i started making New Year Resolutions they would be broken within 24 hours lol
I still have some ambitions to fulfill in the next year or so, and i'll be working on bringing those to fruition but all that "Im not going to eat chocolate" stuff aint happenin :rascal:

i dont bother as i wouldnt know what to stop or start doing.
one thing though.
i must chat to flirty more often wink
Nah! It's a load of nonsense. If I want to make a change to my life in August I make it in August, not 4 months later.
Never bother with NY 'resolutions'
If wanted to change something, do it then and there. Anyway don't have a crystal ball to predict future
Have never bothered with NY resolutions either as I don't need to wait until the start of a year to do something different.
Was thinking of making an exception this year though and have one resolution - involving Kat!
 bolt
I love NYR! I find that it is a perfect opportunity to formalise goals, whether it's things I've been contemplating on or things I'm already working towards.
Sure like everyone's mentioned I constantly re-evaluate my goals and any progress, and adjust as circumstances or my desires change. But taking the time to write things out actually helps focus on what you are working towards and strengthen your resolve. I typically do this two or three times a year, and one of them is in the new year (especially as this coincides with my birthday - also a time for introspection, review and new plans!).
I also have absolutely no problem with putting the same item on my NYR year after year! I don't see it as a failure if I hadn't achieved what I set out to achieve in the span of a year, I just see it as something that still needs addressing or that I am still working on. If I no longer cared about it, it'd drop off the list. So basically NYR for me is more of a to-do list than a pledge to achieve something.
