Well I suppose it had to happen eventually.
The Yorkshire Ripper is trying for freedom on the grounds he is " cured ". Also a massive legal aid bill to be picked up by the taxpayer.
I am fully aware there will be another nutcase out there like Lord Longford, who will fight this murderers corner, and plenty of legal big wigs only too eager to take the massive ammount of money on offer, to try and get him released.
This man has to be one of the worst serial killers this country has ever known. He killed and mutilated I think 13 women, and put fear across Yorkshire for years.
Is this guy cured or just a very clever evil man?
For me he should never ever be released. He should never ever be allowed any time outsude of prison. Just like the Moors murderers, his crimes are just so horrific he should rot in prison for ever.
The mere thought that this guy could be given the opportunity for freedom, wil make a lot of people sick to their boots. I remember vividly the press coverage in this case, and I remember the trial.
The trouble is now in lefty " give everyone another chance Britain in 2010 " he WILL be given that opportunity unless the Home Secretary steps in and blocks it, but I know he and his legal team, will use the human rights laws.
So should this murderer be given the opprtunity of freedom, or should he remain in jail until he takes his final breath?
I think my feelings have been made crystal clear as to where I think he should remain.
It only was a matter of time for this murderer. How long before we hear of Sarah Paynes murderer or some of the other animals in jail looking towards their possible release date?
Some criminals who commit the most vilest of crimes, should never be freed on the grounds that some so called " expert " thinks they are cured. I do not care if this guy is cured, his crimes for me should make him never fit for this was America he would long ago been given the needle and would never have this possible opportunity. At times like this I wish we had the death penalty for the worst crimes.
I am sure that there will be some, maybe on here who think he deserves another chance to be allowed back into society, and if so would love to hear those peoples views as to why.
