Happened to be out and about in the car today and was listening to PMQ's...
Labour have not a hope in hell with Ed Milliband, he sounds so far out of his depth in these engagements it is embarrassing at times.
well...the polls do not suggest this is the case......to be honest does anyone actually listen or takes notice of PMq's really.
Fact is next election....will be hung parliament again.....this time with labour having more seats, but not enough for a majority.....but the Liberal democrats will be wiped off the political map.....so could well be a mish mash of parties !!!

With Nigel Farage as the deal maker?
(Hunts for 'shudders' emoticon)
Does it really matter who is elected ? or should we be watching what the European Parliament is saying seeing as they have more control over us than the UK Government do on the bigger issues which in turn set the tone for the smaller issues.
If our Government make a law will the EU approve it.
If the UK Government make a decision will it be over ruled by the EU ?
Will the UK Government be able to decide budget matters or will they have to wait to see what we have left after the EU take their bit.
listening to PMQs is like listening to a bullshit contest and could be compared to watching paint dry :silly:
i cant really see the point

It is a modern day duelling of political adversaries where wit and speed of thought are the weapons of choice. Debating is fast becoming a lost skill in our dumbed down society but PMQ's gives us a taste of duelling at its best. If you could cut out the background jeers and cheers you can really appreciate the speec of thought and articulation that goes into responding and sparring with opposition MP's.
It's good stuff.

Totally agree, unfortunately I don't hear it often enough. I did hear a little today and it did sound as if Cameron was on the offensive. Apparently the Tories have been advised by their campaign strategist that both Balls and Miliband appear weak to some floating voters and are to be attacked for their responsibility for the country's economic problems.
I did hear a minute of it today where some MP (could even have been one of those PMs whose names I don't know) saying to an opposition Female MP "I love you" for what she said, if I said that at work I would probably be facing a tribunal now for being sexist. but I guess being Politically Correct doesn't apply to those in Politics :boxing:

sorry but the only wit involved in PMQs is that of a half wit on either side
i doubt that any of party's have anyone near to being able to conduct a decent debate let alone be able to add wit or speed of thought and to think these guys are either running the country or hope to. :eeek:
you'd be much better of watching a drag duel if its quick witted intelligent individuals with the ability to string a sentence together that amuse you wink

The only times I've listened to PMQT it has given the impression that a couple of ignorant school boys have found an appreciative audience for the trading of peurile insults. I must have missed the good stuff !!

that allegedly is the good stuff rolleyes
I like PMQ's and try to watch it whenever possible. However the speed of response and duelling that has been refered too may not be all they seem when each adversary in the duel is aware of the questions in advance and has preprepared answers.
