I voted for my local "independent" who altho a Lib Dem is whip free.
I think the concept was under sold. We the voters werent involved in deciding we needed the job done so were pretty much not bothered about who got it.
if i thought it was more than a job creation scheme then i might have voted
What the feck was Lord ever so high and mighty Prescott doing in race to be voted in? He is like a bad smell that pops up when you least expect it.
Simon Weston was going to stand apparently but the rules made it impossible, but Lord what's his name decided to cop another handful of dosh for doing very little. The look on his face when he lost what was a very large Labour stronghold area to a Tory was an absolute peach.

Do we need the job done ? Isn`t it just another excuse buffer put in place so that those responsible can pass the buck to somebody else ?
I don't know. I like the idea of an executive head. many of the council members I have known over the years have either been dishonest or incompetent or both. As you may be aware some of the head coppers round here have been doolally.
So suck it n see I reckon.

Reducing levels of Police brutality for more portly driver of Jaguar motor cars?
I didn't vote, partly because I had almost no idea who the candidates were, and mainly because we weren't even sent polling cards.
